During our stay, we encountered some unexpected issues with the hotel's management. The hotel, comprising two separate commercial buildings, is managed by a couple. Unfortunately, our experience with the female manager was not satisfactory. We felt she was not attentive to details and somewhat unhelpful. A notable issue arose when we were inadvertently locked out of our room after the first night, due to a misunderstanding about our booking duration. The manager had set the access card for only one night, without properly checking the reservation system. In contrast, her partner was more helpful and accommodating. Despite these issues, we appreciated the cleanliness of our room and the stunning view of Kunming's landscape.
