Vienna Hotel Kunming Railway Station Branch

Excellent location if you need to catch the high-speed train, only a 5-7 minute walk to Kunming Station. The hotel is clean, and the staff are nice. However, the soundproofing between rooms is poor. The central air conditioning was set too hot i.e. see picture, and with the hot weather, it made us feel suffocated and unable to sleep well. The sound of running water all night, not from my room but I don't know if it was outside or in the next room, also affected sleep. Breakfast was plentiful.

Relatively good equipments but the ventilation system reeked of cigarette and hotel guests kept on shouting in the corridor. Not recommended

Strategic location which is very convenient for taking train to Dali on the next day. The hotel is just located opposite road of the station. It’s a comfortable stay and there is washing machine too!

Hotel room is clean and high tech.  Breakfast room is too small . Service staff should smile more often

This is a little gem near to the train station. I have asked for a quiet room and it is indeed quiet. The only problem is the aircon - even after adjusting to 16degree, the room temp remains at 25 and feels warm. Other than that, price, service and location is just superb

The hotel is defined as quite international but the receptionists barely speaks english and everything is done no a translator. Before booking consider that this hotel has no smoking free rooms so you could easily find the smells of cigarettes in your room at the check in
