Kunming Jianjia Hotel

Easy check in and check out. Small room for a low price. Good location with plenty of local food options nearby within walking distance. I have stayed here before and will come back again

I love this hotel. I stay here anytime I am in Kunming. They have heat and ac which is important in some seasons. There is some great places to ear nearby. I will definitely be back.

Great little room with all the basic stuff. A bit damp and smelling a bit like old cigarette smoke. Late checkout is awesome. Relaxed but helpful staff.

Better to make the room sound proof. So much noise. Can't sleep properly. Everything is good. Hygiene. Tidy. Clean. But noise is a big problem.

I knew the room allowed smoking, but didn’t realize how much it would stink. My clothes smelled like the room for next couple of days. If you’re a non-smoking budget traveler happened to have found a cheap room, keep scrolling. The hostels are better. However otherwise, it was really clean. The location was decent to get around. And there’s bus that goes to the railway station right away

It was a bit annoying having to go up and down the stairs to go to the washroom. There is no window in the room so there was never any natural light. The walls are also very thin so noise travels easily. They do turndown your room daily which some people prefer but I didn't feel like it was necessary and asked not to have new towels daily but it still happened. There is a laundry machine and clothes drying area you can use which was nice to have.
