The stay was beyond our expectations and we fully enjoyed our stay. Everything worked well and host was very friendly to us! Will come again if there's chance

We are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.) Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

Very convenient location, just near Dianchi. Situated among some landed houses. Also got complimentary afternoon tea set. Pretty nice coffee.

Across the road from the B&B is the Dianchi Haigeng Dam. In the villa area, the environment is very quiet and comfortable. It is very convenient to go out and watch seagulls. It is also very close to walking to the Dianchi Lake Cableway. The room is large, clean and tidy, and the facilities are complete. The B&B itself is also a private restaurant, and the food is great. The boss is warm and generous, making you feel at home. Experience the leisurely slow life and will stay here again next time you come to Kunming!

In the villa area next to the cable car in Haigeng Park, Dianchi Lake is in front of it. Because no one has lived in the villa area, it is quiet. The whole house is smart, the bed is soft and hard, the toilet is smart, equipped with mineral water, instant coffee, toilet seat, etc. Breakfast is ordinary porridge, soy milk, boiled eggs, rice cakes, steamed buns, rice noodles, etc.

I like the decoration style of the room very much. It feels like home. It's a villa. The boss has carefully decorated it in various styles. There are restaurants, cafes, and small courtyards. It feels like going home for vacation, very kind... The boss made me a glass of American style early in the morning, awakened the sleeping cells, and started a 🔛 invigorating day

Hygiene: The ground floor is very dirty, as if it has not been mopped The room is on the first floor, and the ba*****t is very depressing.

Very disappointed from cleanliness to service to supplies. Won't go there again.

My wife and I started a vacation mode. We played and walked along the way. We chose Weilan Coffee Boutique B&B by Dianchi Lake in Kunming. The decoration is very good and the bedding is very clean. It’s very pleasant to go out for a walk after dinner. Kunming is quite cool at night. Their home-cooked food is very good. It’s good and cheap. Weilan Coffee House is a boutique homestay that only opened in March. It is located in a large villa area. The decoration is very new. Inside the room is the intelligent voice operation of Xiaozhi butler, which is very convenient. You can turn on the lights, turn on the TV, It is very convenient to turn on the air conditioner. The toilet is also smart. The most important thing is that their toothbrush is very good. It is not disposable. The bristles of the toothbrush are soft. Before leaving, the store manager gave me 2 of them. The check-in experience is very good , their private kitchen is also good, the price is fair, I will choose here again next time

The owner's own villa has been renovated. The rooms are clean and tidy, and afternoon tea is provided. The stay is a great experience. The owner is also very good at craftsmanship. The rice noodles for breakfast are delicious. The villa is close to Haigeng Dam. In November, red-billed gulls stop here. It is recommended to walk a short distance to the right of the dam after crossing the road. The red-billed gulls nearby are not afraid of people. You can buy a bag of small gulls for 10 yuan on the street. With cake (effect: cake>bread>gull food), you can take beautiful photos with red-billed gulls at close range, which is great value.

The location of the hotel is not bad. It is very convenient to go to Erhai Lake, but it is not convenient to eat and shop nearby.

In Kunming, I picked a coffee-themed homestay closest to Dianchi Lake, Weilan Cafe, with a cute logo. It is a newly renovated homestay, worth a try. The boss and the housekeeper were very enthusiastic. They took me to the coffee bar and drank a specialty coffee from Yunnan. They made a pot of pour-over coffee, which was full of floral fragrance. The barista gave me a cup of oatmeal latte, which was very delicious. When I left, I bought coffee beans to take home because I liked it so much. The check-in experience is very good, the bedding is very clean, and the environment is hygienic, clean and comfortable. In the evening, I ate a small pot of rice noodles made by the chef in the back garden. It was the best rice noodles I have eaten in Yunnan.
