I stayed at the hotel for the second time. This time I took the kids for a short rest. I specially chose a room with a view of the Xishan Mountain. The Xishan Mountain under the setting sun is really beautiful. I can feel the vitality of the whole city by watching the cars and rivers at night. The environment is clean and tidy, the service at the front desk can be better, and the breakfast can be more refined.

I am very satisfied with the hotel. It is located in the old city. There are facilities such as the veteran cadre activity center and park nearby. There are also red brochures in the hotel for reading. It feels very safe. It is only a two- or three-minute walk to the Maitreya Temple Park, which is quiet and quiet in the middle of the bustle. It is suitable for a five- or six-month walk. It takes about minutes to get to Maitreya Temple subway station, one stop to Kunming Old Street, and only two stops to Cuihu Park. It is very convenient to check in. Only then I found out that it is a hot spring hotel. The water is pumped up from 1000 meters underground. It is great value for money.

It was a great experience booking this hotel for this trip! The hotel is located on the Nanping Pedestrian Street. There is a big banyan tree at the door. The overall building is antique, and the rooms are simple and elegant, clean and tidy. The service is very considerate in all aspects. When you check in, you will make a reservation for breakfast the next day, as well as afternoon tea and evening sweet soup. The various Yunnan-style snacks such as rice noodles for breakfast are very delicious. The hotel is a courtyard-style building. There is no elevator. Take the stairs. The waiters will help you carry your luggage. If you go to Dali, you can also store your luggage in the hotel. The service is very good. The hotel is located in the city center, making it very convenient to go out and play.

A big part of a good holiday experience is the hotel you stay in. This is one of the best hotels we have experienced whilst travelling through Yunnan. From the customer relations girls at reception to the cleaning ladies, Mengjin group staff excels in providing warm, friendly service to all their guests. Location is perfect for first time visitors to Kunming, you get to experience the old and the new just a short walk away. The hotel has exceptional standards with quality furnishings and bedding. Rooms are well appointed, the bed is comfortable and the soundproofing is fantastic. Breakfast is a limited choice of noodles but it is sumptuous and fulfilling. I especially like the coffee machine where you can get unlimited quality coffee anytime you want. We stayed at Moon Shine when we arrived and at this hotel Moon Shy before departing. Will definitely look out for this group's other outlets and will definitely stay here again! Thank you to the service staff for being so helpful, kind and caring. Special mention to housekeeping auntie who washed my socks ❤️. No 6 star hotel will ever give you that warmth.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, quite good location near Kunming Station, very nice room size and facilities, especially the toiletries. Enjoyed our stay. Value for money.

Everything is great, helpful front desk, good breakfast, comfy bed with big Tv, self service laundry room, clean room with all utensils you need. The downsides are its right opposite bar and clubs which means it’s extremely noisy with car horns, traffic whistles and anything that you can imagine at night. It doesn’t get quiet until you are about to wake up in the morning. Also, although it’s a non-smoking hotel, since the rooms are functioned under central aircond unit, the room is covered with cigarette smell, which makes me feel uncomfortable once I step into the room. Other than noise and smell, I am happy with my stay here and would recommend this hotel.

I was there for the second time and I really enjoy this place. Is very clean, the staff is really helpful and almost all of them speak English. The location is very good, on the center and near the metro. For sure a place to go in Kunming

We really enjoyed our stay here. The entrance decoration and feel around the hotel was really nice, the service was helpful, our rooms were very clean, and the location was really nice - it was in a quiet park of town but lots of interesting local shops around to explore. Thanks for a great stay. ⭐️
