Hotels Near Jalan Gajus Park in Kuala Lumpur

Most awful experience. We did not expect much as it was very cheap but even at low prices we would hope for some standards. We were due to stay for 3 nights but ended up leaving without staying one night. Upon arrival the hotel’s sign outside was broken and flickering and when entering the lobby it was hot and humid and very uncomfortable. We were told we had to pay extra tourist charges and had to pay them for 4 days despite only staying for 3. We were then given our room key, the TV remote and air on remote which both had their batteries taped in place, not a great sign. We then were told to use the lift which said it was broken and under maintenance. When we entered our room it was dark, dirty and damp. Remnants of mould and crumbs from previous guests were every where and the bathroom clearly had not been cleaned. The toilet roll in the bathroom was soggy and there was hair in the toilet and around the shower. We had been travelling for a while before staying here meaning we had stayed in a number of cheap places but nothing this awful. We then decided to leave and booked another hotel having to get a taxi there. We tried to explain the state of the room to the receptionist and ask for a refund, he told us we could have one but only Agoda could sort this for us, this was clearly a lie as Agoda have told us repeatedly that the hotel has to authorise the refund when we spoke to them and the hotel continues to refuse. Agoda told us that when they spoke to the hotel, the hotel said we never informed them of the issues and we left the following day after staying the first night, a complete lie. Honestly the worst stay and customer service ever and a horrible and traumatic experience, especially having to sort another hotel in a large foreign city late into the night. Please avoid this place. If the hotel reads this, please respond so we can sort this as we have still paid for 3 nights that we did not stay despite the staff saying they would refund us.

My husband and I decided to stay in the city since we are celebrating his birthday dinner in a restaurant downtown. The design of the hotel was well thought. The room was cozy with well thought details. When we first got into the room. It was stuffy (still air) with heavy cigi smell. Well, the previous guest must be a heavy smoker. At first we thought to allow the air con air the room and see how. When we got back from dinner, the room smell the same. I approached the front desk and requested a change of room. The night duty guy told me they were out of room for a change. However, if we allow, they would place an air purifier in the room. I duly accepted. Shortly, about 5mins, they delivered the air purifier. Once it was switched on, I can breathe again! We truly appreciate the solution provided. We slept through the night soundly.

This is my 6th visit. Very nice hotel. Very strategic location since mrt merdeka is just behind. Deposit is for RM 100 and the parking fee of for RM 6 per entry. Went to their cafe which is suprisingly the foods are good. Highly recommended the butter chicken. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The bedsheet is clean too. Just a suggestion, the toilet to be well maintained properly because there were some dirty part. But overall, will definitely come again.

Strategically located and also nearby to the eateries, groceries shop. We have a nice stay there.

My second home in KL and I have been staying with park royal since 2022 (I go to KL once every 2 months) so I lost count how many times I stayed in Park royal. This year is the first time I spent my birthday there and a very pleasant surprise from the hotel. The bed is so comfortable with the super duper soft pillow that I always slept well when I was there. Please keep the good job that you guys have been doing and kuddos to the house keeping and reception staff whom are always smiling and greeting me, your hard work and professionalism is what keep me coming back! Not to forget the breakfast which is so good!

I was not able to take a picture of the room we stayed in. The location was city centre and accessible to taxi and bus. The room and bath were clean. Liquid soap was provided but no shampoo and the wifi in our room on the 8th floor was weak. There was no cafe and restaurant in the hotel the staff said that due to the pandemic they closed it. There was a 24/7 convenience store near and walking distance restaurants. The staff were accommodating. Overall 8/10 rating.

Service: The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay. Facilities: The hotel had excellent facilities, including spacious, well-appointed rooms, a relaxing pool area, and a well-equipped fitness center. Food: The food was delicious, with a diverse breakfast buffet and memorable dining experiences at the Colonial Café and Orchid Conservatory. Overall: A fantastic stay with top-notch service, luxurious facilities, and great food. Highly recommended!

Good clean room, with great view! There was a lot of people in the lobby when we came, but we only waited less than 10 minutes to check in because there was an efficient number system. I read a lot of reviews about the lift situation, but we actually went down quite a number of times just to go out and eat, or grab something from grab, & the lift process was quite smooth. All in all, a great stay.

The express room is decent for a short stay. Reasonable size rooms, clean with strong Internet. There is a water dispenser and ironing area in the corridor. Location is superb. About 100 meters from NU Sentral mall and KL Sentral monorel station. A lot of eateries around the hotel.

One of my best hotel experiences yet. The staff were exceptional and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The pool and bar were relaxing. The lunch on the first floor was also very good. The hotel is in a very convenient location. All of the main city sights is about a 20 minute walk away. Petronas Towers, Central Market, Chinatown, Little India, KL Tower, Pavilion Mall and the food street were all a 20 minute walk from the hotel. I’d recommend for anyone staying in Kuala Lumpur.
