Stayed at Hotel Olympic Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur and had a pleasant experience. The hotel offers decent and comfortable rooms, well-equipped with the essentials for a good rest. The Olympic-inspired theme adds a unique touch to the overall ambiance, making it more lively compared to a standard city hotel.
The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and nearby attractions, making it a good choice for both leisure and short business stays. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. Car parking available for RM6 (multiple entry).
Overall, Hotel Olympic Malaysia KL is a nice option for those looking for affordable comfort in the heart of the city.

Pros

- the interiors was up to date
- oral care complimentaries provided
- shower - shampoo 2in1 dispenser
- mini chiller fridge
- strong central aircon
- 24/7 front desk & security
- lift access pass only
- food delivery drop off point for no contact delivery
- windows could be opened to ventilate the room
- washer & dryer was avilable for use @ RM20
- good beddings and extra pillows provided in the drawer
- 5 clothes hangers provided
- central shower heating
- room service does not bother you unless requested (good for privacy)
- excellent staffs
Cons
- very dusty curtains
- dusty room (could see dust particles flying about)
- slightly on the pricier side
- toilet was quite cramped
- quite sketchy area at night
Verdict
This is the right place if you are not staying solo and travelling on a budget. If you have dust allergy, this isn't the place for you. Why choose this place? This is a perfect base to explore KL and Selangor or even a day trip to Genting Highlands. Public transport especially the train networks doesn't get affected by the infamous KL traffic road congestions. Only use grab when bus waiting times are unacceptable or no public is available for the last mile journey. With public transport, going to the airport or travelling to other states would be a breeze. So my point is, this hotel is right next to public transportation nodes and travelling on a budget is possible.

Room was relatively clean except for the floors(bit sticky). I guess thats why there’s a slippers for the guests to use? Lol
Location is nice. It’s not really in the city center but still walking distance to most places.
There’s a lot of food places nearby to choose from, 24hrs stores and pharmacy.
I checked in really late (or early?) around 3am in the morning and reception is still open. They had me upgraded to a king room from queen as there’s no queen room available.
Walls are a bit thin tho, so if you’re sensitive to noice this might not be the place for you. You can hear whenever someone opens other room.
Elevators are bit small and tends to get crowded during peak hours.
But hey, for it’s price I think it’s good value for your money if you dont mind those stuff I mentioned.

I had a wonderful stay at Swiss Garden Bukit Bintang. The hotel is very comfortable and clean, with a cozy and well-maintained room. The toilet was spotless, and the overall ambiance made the stay truly enjoyable.
One of the best things about this hotel is its location — it's very close to shops, restaurants, and popular attractions. It's definitely a hotspot for tourists, making it a convenient place to stay whether you're in Kuala Lumpur for shopping, sightseeing, or food hunting.
The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the stay, which made the experience even better. Breakfast was great with a good variety of food to choose from.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. You won’t be disappointed!

it was a last minute plan to stay here as i am so tired to travel back to hometown after my business trip. its cheap and most importantly got parking on site. fee is rm10 per day and u can go in and out anytime. just dont forget to validate your card at lobby every time before going out. food also easily to find nearby, got 7E, Texas Chicken etc even you can order for delivery. the room was not that clean but acceptable for the price.

The room is clean and we liked the gym. However the swimming pool water is salty as I accidentally tasted the water. The hotel needs to drain the pool water and clean it for hygiene.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this hotel is part of the Ascott group when I checked in!
It has certainly lived up to its name — this is the best value-for-money hotel in KL for me. The property is relatively new, spotlessly clean, well-equipped with all the amenities I need, and conveniently located near Chinatown.
The front desk staff was polite, helpful, and accommodating. I really appreciated the early check-in and late checkout they extended to me (I understand this is subject to availability, of course).
After booking, I came across a less-than-favorable review about the breakfast here, but I honestly don't think it was fair. In my opinion, the breakfast offered is much better in quality than the RM30 buffet breakfast I had at Coffee Terrace in Resorts World Genting.
I've already convinced a few of my friends to make this their go-to hotel in KL — and I’m sure they’ll be just as impressed!

**Review of Ancasa Hotel Kuala Lumpur**
I had a wonderful stay at Ancasa Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. The hotel was exceptionally clean and provided a comfortable atmosphere throughout my visit. The smart TV in the room was a delightful addition, allowing for easy entertainment. The stunning night view from my room also truly added to the experience. The spa service was fantastic, offering a relaxing break from the city's hustle and bustle, and the swimming pool was a lovely spot to unwind. Last but not least, the hotel's location in the heart of the city made it convenient to explore nearby attractions.

Great
MMirageTimeThe location is very good, only 1 mins away from China town and few minutes from market. The hostel is at Pasar Seni station. You can easy to get MRT or Sky rail to Pavilion or KL central. The hostel is very cool, provide free cold/hot water also free tea bags. The capsule is very safe need to use key to access locker and capsule. The only thing is cleaner need to vacuum the corner of inside door rails because they have some debris. The bath room and toilets cleaner always keep it clean. I really like this hotel will stay next when I visit KL.

GGuest User+Great hotel for a reasonable price in the center of the city. Everything is in walking distance, plenty of food, markets, tourist attractions etc. The bed is comfy, towels are clean, WiFi is great. The staff and cleaning are wonderful. Hot and cold water from the dispenser in the corridor.

GGuest UserThe room is clean and spacious (I took the deluxe room). Value for money. The location is great as it’s next to the LRT and the popular spots in Chinatown. The reception staff are friendly.
Being next to the LRT has its pro and con. It can be really noisy when it’s operating. I have no problem with that as I don’t spend a lot of time in the room and isn’t a light sleeer.

YYusionOne of the best staycations I’ve had in KL! The place is right in the city centre—just across the road is the famous Jalan Alor, packed with local street food. My room was peaceful since it didn’t face the main road, and it offered a stunning view of Merdeka 118, the world’s second tallest building, right from the living room. The room is completed with amenities. Plus, if you enjoy local art and creative spaces, GMBB Mall is just next door, which is a bonus for you.

GGuest UserHotel staff is friendly with a spacious lounge to sit over, alongside a nice cafe. The internet at this room was much better compared to my last experience at a different room in this hotel. You may ask for a window room with better internet availability. If you’re only looking for a sleepover, some hostels around are also considerable options. Remember to book online, over the counter rates are higher and may also charge you extra if you’re using cash such as transaction and bank charges.

GGuest UserPerfect location, just across the street from Arrow Street, it is very convenient to go to citywalk
The room is fully equipped and the floor-to-ceiling windows have a first-class view
The pool on the 6th floor is absolutely pleasantly surprised, worth the fare! Can see the 118 building
PS:
① The smell of the ground cleaner is too big, it takes a long time to disperse after check-in, and it is not very friendly to those sensitive to smell.
② The two air conditioners are old and the cooling is a bit difficult. It is recommended to clean them in depth.

DDmitriMayI recommend it. For this price, it's a great choice! The hotel contacted me immediately after booking. I got there from the airport by metro without any problems. I found the hotel. I lived on the 10th floor. The hotel reception is on the 4th floor. Below is the bus station and offices. The room is clean and cozy. Chinatown is very close. I walked to the Petronas Twin Towers and other attractions. I liked everything. I will come again!🙂 (Especially since I forgot my hat when I left early))) now I definitely need to come back)
