We have just returned to cold and wet England from another wonderful 3 months at Sengjan and could not have had a more wonderful time. If you are retired, like us, and just want to get away from the awful English winter weather ... this is the place for you! Beautiful villas, a swimming pool to die for, and a lush garden that is always immaculate thanks to Ken (I've never known a man who works harder than him!). We love Ralph and Ken! They are such kind and caring owners and will do whatever they can to make sure that your time at Sengjan is relaxed and free from hassle. There are lots of beautiful beaches and restaurants nearby, and it's a joy to have a little trip out on a bicycle, motorbike, or car and discover all the wonders in the area. We've been so often now that my preference is to lay on one of the sun loungers by the gorgeous pool with a good book and a beer. For those who are more active than me (everybody) there are lots of attractions to visit, nature trails, and temples high up on the hills. Before we arrived at Sengjan this year we had to stay in Phuket for a while because of Covid. We met a Canadian couple there who were over-wintering like us. They hadn't booked accommodation for part of their stay but when we told them about Sengjan they checked out the reviews, made a booking, and ended up extending their stay there. It really is the most comfortable and relaxing property we've ever been to, and we're counting the months before we can go back again.
