I stayed for the first time at ' Maneetel Ao Nang ' on friday night. Ao Nang was very busy for ' Somkran ' so I couldnt park at the hotel but there were spaces at ' Landmark' very close by. Its in a great location with everything you might need in walking distance. I choose it as I was visiting the New ' Irish Embassy Pub ' + wanted to walk there. On arrival, there were 2 lovely reception staff who did a great job of welcoming me. Its a lovely spacious reception where the gym + pool + a coffee shop are all on ground level. The room was perfect + very nicely designed/decorated. Its small but I expected that. Theres a balcony if you want to sit out. VERY unlike the reviews previous to mine...I had a super night sleep, NO noise at all until my alarm clock went off ! The breakfast area is on the 2nd floor + you can sit facing out to sea ! Good choice of breakfast + spotlessly clean. I would be happy to return here.

Good central location. Room was basic and spacious, bed was comfortable. Breakfast selection was limited but food quality was excellent, and the staff serving breakfast were wonderful. We stayed in the second block and the Wi-Fi signal was weak at times. It was strong in the first block.

It's a good hotel. The rooms and washroom are clean and so is the private pool. The amenities provided are good and the food is very very reasonably priced, though the options for vegetarians are limited. The top roof pool is good and drinks are value for money specially during happy hours It's a 20 min walk from the beach and doesn't have sea view but the pricing of the room is accordingly done. I found it worth Would advice not to book tours and activities from the hotel desk, it's at least 25% more expensive than the market rates. You can use it only for two wheeler rentals though

Our favorite hotel to stay in Ao Nang thus far, everything was perfect. Was happy to stay here. Staff were lovely, especially those working in the restaurant at breakfast service. About 15-20 min away on foot to Ao Nang Beach but the neighborhood per se is already great - lots of food options. Check in was ok. The pool was good also, very clean. I’d definitely be back in the future.

The best thing about this resort is the location. The hotel sits right on the beach. The area is quiet but there are some nice restaurants around. The hotel itself needs some upgrades as it is a bit dated but it is well maintained. If you want a quiet, relaxed atmosphere in Krabi we definitely recommend this place. Transport can be problematic and a bit costly but if you order a grab in advance they usually show up.

We enjoyed our stay a lot and probably would have stayed two days even more, but unfortunately they were booked out. We also had a special request in our booking and they didn’t ignore it. In the room you have everything that you need - a fridge, TV and even a hairdryer. Most important part is the bed and we liked it a lot..I read before we went that some people found the bed very hard, but for us it was perfect and we had a very good sleep. WiFi worked great (watched Netflix without problems) and room was very clean - no strange stains on the sheets or anything like that. Also the location is ideal for Krabi town, because in front of the hotel there is a market where you can get food (rice with crispy chicken and salad) starting from 35 Baht and 7/11 is just next to the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

GGuest UserWe had an amazing visit! Would definitely return! You must realize that you are staying basically in the jungle. You don't need fancy clothes. You don't even need shoes. Getting there takes time and you need to plan ahead with flights and boat transfers. We were there during ”off” season, so this information could change during high season. (Check other reviews.) There was not any entertainment, which was perfect for us! We came to rest and relax and enjoy the beach. We read books, swam, walked, ate, exercised, slept. Best vacation ever. 1) When I go to a beach resort, the most important thing is THE BEACH. This beach is gorgeous, the sand is golden, the water is clear and beautiful. The swim area is very generous and cleared of large rocks. No trash or debris. You can also go outside the swim area and snorkel near the rocks that are in front of the neighboring resort. Lots of lounge chairs with a bean-bag type cushion and large umbrellas. If chairs are taken, they also have mats that lay on the ground but with a back cushion. They were very comfortable. 2) The other thing that makes or breaks a hotel stay is the comfort of the bed, and the room in general. The bed was perfect -- not too hard, not too soft. The rooms are individual teak wood buildings and have thatched roofs. The room has air conditioning. The beds have mosquito nets, but I didn't feel like we needed them during our stay. There is a beautiful breezeway porch with chairs and cushions, then an enclosed bathroom with toilet, sink & shower. There is a separate outdoor shower behind a wooden wall. Also an outdoor sink attached to a dressing table with chair and mirror plus outlet. If you have long hair that you usually dry, I would make plans NOT to do so. It is too hot and the hair dryer is not really for styling. (ours only had high setting and it made my hair look crazy) 3) Food/Dining - The resort had a large dining area where an amazing breakfast buffet spread was served daily. We were able to get lattes with several different types of milk (regular, almond, soy). There were western choices and traditional Thai choices. Fresh eggs to order. The other restaurant is on the beach. You can get lunch/snacks and dinner there (special occasions or rain would move to the breakfast area). For dinner there were delicious Thai choices. They also had western/American food, but we ate Thai at all meals except a hamburger & fries once for lunch. 4) Drinks/Alcohol - We're not big drinkers, but I felt they had an adequate range of alcohol to make a variety of drinks/cocktails. I don't usually like sugary drinks, but the ones they serve in the fresh coconut and the fresh pineapple were delicious. They also had a fair selection of wines. We don't drink beer, but they did offer it. 5) Spa/Gym - We had Thai massages that were wonderful. There's a workout room with some free weights and several machines (elliptical, treadmill, rower). GGuest UserWhen we booked this resort there was a really shortage of reviews available and so hopefully this provides some information to help potential visitors. In short this is an amazing place that we’d thoroughly recommend; it was incredible value and more than met up to our expectations! Overall resort The resort is tucked away off a main road so feels very peaceful but is also walkable to a seven eleven and a couple of nearby restaurants. On site is a main restaurant that at time of writing is open for breakfast and dinner, as well as a really brilliant cafe that’s open during the day and sells coffee, and a range of meals as well. There is also a small but we’ll equipped gym with basically brand new equipment and one of the longest nicest swimming pools slap back in the middle of the resort; alongside a pool bar where snacks and drinks are also served. Given we are staying over Christmas the resort is super quiet; presumably a result of Thailand only recently reopening post-Covid Staff and service Staff have been generally really friendly and helpful; there aren’t millions of them which I guess reflects the low occupancy but they’ve helped us every time we have asked for anything and service in the restaurant has been polite, friendly and efficient Room We are staying in 3101 and 3102 which together make a vast family villa which is just perfect for ourselves and our eleven year old; he can have space to himself but also be around us whenever he wants. The rooms are to a proper, high, five star standard in almost every way. Great coffee machine, relatively inexpensive minibar, huge bed, an outdoor overwater seating area (well two one for us and one for our child), two outdoor baths, ample storage, modern tvs, everything you could ask for. Food Breakfast is good; with an egg station, a range of Asian food, fruit, etc. it’s not as extensive as many Western resort breakfasts but you should find something to most tastes. The main menu is delicious; we’ve been really really happy with everything we’ve eaten so far, some off the scale nice curries. The menu is also really good for children, with burgers, pizza, spaghetti bolognaise all available and done really well Ambience The place is beautifully laid out and the lagoon adds an incredible atmosphere, with the whole resort set up against a mangrove jungle area. We travel a lot (my wife runs a travel business) but the resort is really quite different from anywhere we’ve stayed before, and in my mind all the better for it. Things to improve A few bits were slightly negative; the shower pressure and temperature is pretty variable so they could improve this; we arrived early before our room was ready so we didn’t get a chance to go to the room by gondola which was a really cool thing they offer normally on arrival and we’d have really loved. Strangest of all is that they don’t serve alcohol; this wasn’t a massive problem for us as we’re not huge drinkers. It’s also easily solved as

Best Hotel cabins in Thailand. Staff so friendly food top class. I thought I was in paradise. £75 a night. Dont worry about the slops you get your own personal transport easy and they waiting for for with a smile.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.

GGuest UserWe planned to stay at this hotel for two nights. We checked in and reception looked ok. There was no lift to get to the bedrooms so had to carry the suitcases and bag packs up the stairs. We walked into the room and honestly I have no words! There was bugs everywhere, it was dirty, stains on the sheets. The bed was like concrete and we immediately knew we could not stay in that room. When trying to get out the door would also not lock. The couple we were travelling with had an even worse room then ours. These rooms were on a very busy loud street. We went to reception and they showed my partner a different rooms that both couples have. This was better but these rooms were NOT under PP Charlie hotel this was under PP Princess hotel. The woman reassured that this was a quiet room. The room was bigger and more comfortable, a lot more like the pictures provided upon the PP Charlie website. Most importantly it was clean and the air con worked. This room was double the price on top of what we had already payed. On the night we again had to ask to move as the base of music from a tattoo shop had the bed vibrating. The hotel was accommodating in letting us move 3 doors up where it was more quiet. The swimming pool is nothing at all like the pictures. Please do not be fooled by the pictures of this hotel. This hotel needs a lot of TLC.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 12 nights in march 2023. We have no bad things to say about this hotel - the rooms are lovely, the pool is amazing with beautiful views of greenery and the sunset. Breakfast is very peaceful as you sit looking out over the view, and was quiet each day we ate. We tried the floating breakfast one morning which cost 300 baht (around £7.50 for 2 people). This was lovely and felt very luxurious. There is a free shuttle to and from the beach/high street however we decided to rent a motorbike from reception which at first we were sceptical about getting it up and down the hill with 2 people on but we did it multiple times a day with no issues. The staff were very helpful, sorting our airport transfers and motorbike quickly, and the maids were very kind too. Overall we would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area and want to stay somewhere with luxury for a good price. Thank you, Andakiri!!

FFlyer53297We had a 3 day stay at Nadivana Serviced Apartments. We booked a small room which was at the back of the property which we didn't mind at all. The room was clean and large with a great shower. Coffee available in the room and if you wanted there were all kinds of things in the ”mini bar” available for purchase rather than running to a store. It's a bit further away from the beach but there are shuttles every 2 hours going to the beach and it's nice to be away from all the heavy tourist activity anyway. We were able to try some different beach areas which suited us very well. Simen the owner was very helpful with questions about the area, Thailand, or even to help with minor issues in the apartment. The pool is very nice and we loved it! It has a small pool bar where we sat one night and chatted with other occupants. The food was very good at dinner and the breakfast was a great value as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nadivana and would book it again if were were to return to Krabi.
