We had the most amazing 3 days 2 nights spent at The Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui and we are so glad we made the decision to stay here for our honeymoon.
The service provided by the staff was exceptional and greatly appreciated. They have demonstrated outstanding service which truly made a difference. Their attentiveness and hospitality made our experience even more memorable. Special mention to the Reservation Manager, Gine Castillo Aguenza and reception officer, Yady for their hospitality.
Little touches such as the double room upgrade, bouquet of red roses, evening cocktail drinks at the lobby, cake in room, daily activities and the shuttle bus to Chaweng Beach did not go unnoticed and these are what made Ritz-Carlton Koh Samui so special!
We look forward to returning in the near future!

We took my brother to the FishHouse on 27 December to celebrate his 60th birthday. Party of 10. We had an early booking of 6.30pm as my brother was not well. The service was very rushed. The waiters told us at the outset that the restaurant would be very full and busy later and they advised us to order quickly. This help kill the welcome. The restaurant never got very busy so I don't know why they told us this in the first place. It made us feel rather unwelcome. The starters were good. However, some of the main courses were disappointing. Four of us ordered the ”paella” dish, two the squid ink paella and two the foie gras paella. Paella is a Spanish sea food dish. It is usually served about 1.5 inches deep, heaving in seafood such as prawns, squid, etc. This seemed like a good choice as we were in a fish restaurant. Paella was listed on the menu to ”serve two”. I have no idea why. They were tiny. A single adult could easily eat one and still feel hungry. Annoying. It was nothing like the paella we have eaten in Spain. There was a thin dry layer of rice in the bottom of the pan. The squid ink paella could hardly be described as heaving with seafood. There were four mussels on top. The rice did not contain any seafood. As to the ”foie gras paella”, we expected this would be both seafood and have foie gras. However, the ”paella” had no seafood at all. Again, it was just a thin layer of rice along the bottom of the pan with a piece of foie gras on top. I don't see how one can have a ”paella” with no sea food. It is self contradictory. The staff should have warned us that the so-called ”paella” contained no sea food. We felt this was a disappointing effort for what was meant to be special occasion. I had specially recommended the place as we had a good time when we stayed there during the year. We emailed the GM, but he/she did not even do us the courtesy of a reply.

We stayed at this newly built hotel for 5 Nights in October 22 which is usually OFF season (instead of offering for free upgrade they asked us 300 Thai bath for an upgrade). the hotel is extremely beautiful, but location is not good, even for 7/11 Shop you need to walk for 15 min up and down hill. there is no restaurant for dinner outside the hotel. No free shuttle to main shopping area (Central Sumai). rooms are nice and clean (no coffee creamer though they send you COLD milk in your room). there are few areas that need to be improved. House keeping is average. All the staff is very polite and helpful. we had free buffet breakfast which was bellow Average. our stay was long 5 Nights and during our stay we never ever had HOT tea or COFFEE. it always took at least 15 minutes for them to serve you coffee. Breakfast scene is pretty chaotic . pools are very very nice and clean, they have very small private beach. but the view from each room specially the lobby is to die for. overall i will still give it 8/10

We stayed in a pool room villa which was lovely. We really enjoyed the hotel and amenities. The beach by the hotel was lovely (a little bit of litter, but lovely temperature).
The communication could have been better - we didn’t realise there was a shuttle between this hotel and the twin hotel, or that the hotel provided kayaks and stand up paddle boards until the last day (we paid to rent a SUP earlier in our stay).
The breakfasts were awesome, very enjoyable!

Six Senses Samui is everything I could have hoped for and more. We were lucky enough to stay in a Hideaway Pool Villa - an absolutely gorgeous huge room with an amazing bathroom and an outdoor shower. The villa has its own private pool with sun-loungers and outdoor lounge seating and is absolutely spectacular. I had the opportunity to see a couple of the other pool villas and the ocean view suites really are exceptional with either sunrise or sunset views. The infinity pool is stunning and has far reaching ocean views. Drink and food service by the pool is fantastic with a lovely menu. Drift is Six Senses Samui’s beach club. With a pool, bar and the most comfortable loungers and seating imaginable. There was never an issue finding a lounger either at the pool or down on the beach. Drift Bar has a livelier atmosphere than the serene infinity pool and is a great place for lunch or afternoon cocktails at Happy Hour. Dining on the Hill is wonderful for breakfast - a fantastic selection on both the buffet and a La carte menu. Dinner was fantastic - a great selection of both Thai and Western food and I’d highly recommend booking Half Board. The resort is so beautiful at night as well with all the lights twinkling. We didn’t have the opportunity to eat at Dining on the Rocks but heard that it was a very special experience. The staff at Six Senses are all lovely. Each Villa is assigned a GEM (Guest Experience Maker) and we were lucky enough to have the wonderful Beth. Beth made us feel so welcome and was so helpful and friendly - he really is a credit to Six Senses and made our stay even more wonderful. Although you can walk around the resort and take in the views, when the heat becomes too much for the hills and steps, buggy’s are readily available to transport you around. Despite the size of the resort it somehow still retains an intimate feel. Despite feeling totally secluded in Paradise, Six Senses is only a 15 minute taxi journey from Samui Airport as well as The Fisherman’s Village which is well worth a visit - we loved the Fire Show at Coco Tams as recommended by Beth our GEM. Sustainability is clearly very important to Six Senses and it’s great not to see plastic anywhere at the resort. Six Senses Samui is the perfect destination for couples and families - there are plenty of activities available for children and adults alike if you can tear yourself away from the stunning views!

We were supposed to stay two nights at Melia Samui, but we had such a great checkin thanks to Rita that we immediately extended our stay with 7 more days. We also consider staying 10 more days, a total of 19 nights :) All the employees of the hotel are extremely professional and make you feel at home. We were there with our 7 months old baby and felt that this hotel is very safe regarding covid and hygiene. I also have to mention the amazing breakfast and the nice food at the Breeza beach restaurant. Always very fresh and well prepared. The price is a bit higher than a local restaurant behind the hotel, but the view is exceptional and the food is great made with prenium ingredients. We definitely come back with our family.

We have just returned from a 12 night stay at the Tongsai Bay. As returning guests we knew to expect an excellent service across the board. However what we didn’t expect was that they have managed to improve on what we already thought was perfection! The Garrya rebrand seems to have complemented the Tongsai, without detracting from the essence of the original concept. The rooms have been re-vamped but the upgrade is very much in keeping with the eco friendly jungle location. It was good to see that the natural tones and furnishings remain. Many of the long-standing staff are still there, and the new additions in staff provide the same faultless service with a warm smile on their faces. Every single member of staff was exceptional! It would be unfair to list individual staff as it is obvious that all departments work together as one team under the expert guidance of Manuel and Mark. I have yet to stay in another hotel where senior management get so involved. The main improvement for us this time was the food, which was already very good. The Tongsai have definitely upped their game here. every single meal we ate was truly delicious. Overall and exceptional experience, we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to anyone. Thank you to everyone at the Tongsai for making our holiday absolutely perfect. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

The temporarily changed hotel finally allowed me to live in the place I wanted to live in. It is only a few steps away, the seaside cottage!!! [Bitter]
The green coverage of the resort is also too high. I saw a large pheasant and didn’t know it was a wild bird just after strolling around...🐔? 🐦?
It's a pity I didn't have time to take pictures!
The hotel staff are very friendly, they will take the initiative to smile and say hello when they see you, which makes people feel great.
The room is very clean and spacious. Mosquito coils are needed at night. The natural environment of the resort is good and there are naturally many mosquitoes.
But this hotel is not very popular, when we checked in, it felt like we were the only customers...
Then I asked about the other two. 😅
The hotel is directly connected to Samrong Beach. The beach is small and the sand is not too fine, but fortunately, the sea is not too rough, suitable for swimming and kayaking. The sea is beautiful, with reefs in the distance and hills everywhere.
Overall, I think this price is worth it!

Stayed for 8 nights at Sala Samui Choengmon Beach Resort. The villa had its own private pool. Very cozy and nice. The breakfast each morning was really nice. There’s a buffet and you also get one a la carte item for breakfast to go with your buffet. So really good. Staff were super friendly and nice. The hotel evening meals were not so good. Nearby restaurants were way better and much better priced. I wished the food was super good for lunch and dinner as it would have been perfect, but unfortunately, the Thai dishes were a bit sub par, over priced and even beers and cocktails were double or triple what you pay elsewhere. Pool staff were friendly and helpful, but I wish the food and drinks at restaurant and bar were reasonably priced so we could have enjoyed it more. Nearby restaurants offer better experience. Mr Eung restaurant nearby had the best food for that area. A short drive to the best restaurant on the island called Supatrra will show you what you wish the resort had. If the manager of the Sala resort went over there and learnt a thing or two about dining then the resort could be greatly improved. Anyway, resort was nice, just the lunch and dinner needs some attention. Good location, clean and tidy. Shower gel and soaps were not the best so had to buy some outside. Don’t forget your mosquito spray. Overall, a nice experience and very relaxing, just wish the food was better. Fun stuff to do nearby, football golf, Thai cooking class, go kart racing, reggae bar, paddle ball courts, tourist shopping at night market, kickboxing show. We hired a scooter, as it’s not really walking distance to anything but a short scooter ride will get you around the island.

Maryoo was recommended by friends, we were told it wasn't the newest place in Koh nor is it by far the worst. We were very happy and comfortable with Maryoo and the staff. Well organised and great value for the price. You cannot compare this place to other hotels we have stayed at in Koh, the people are amazing and will do anything for you. The meals are generous and cooked by one of the best chefs on the island! We are looking forward to coming back again this year. Rooms are a good size with kitchenette and cleaned daily, beds are big and comfy, pool is a good size. The hotel is about 3 kl ms from Chaweng beach center and easy to get to.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The front desk staff are exceptionally helpful, always accommodating last minute changes. The massage therapists are excellent. The exercise staff are top notch. And there are a variety of healing modalities featured. The food is delicious and healthy. It is a very relaxing and serene place. And I met some amazing new friends here. I would definitely come back.

GGuest UserMe and my boyfriend stayed at Skye Beach for 5 nights and everything was amazing. Very clean, spacious, amazing villa with a gorgeous view. The staff were perfect and made the experience I think! So attentive and kind and always had a big smile on their faces. Breakfast was also lovely- set up every morning my staff in your own villa and was really enjoyable. This is one of the best resorts I have ever stayed and would definitely recommend. The only thing I would say is that if you are in the villas that aren’t on the beach front, the pools lack a bit of privacy as the people from below can see right in. The location is also not really close by to anything but this was our own mistake for not doing enough research on the area but I still wouldn’t change staying at this amazing hotel!

Great hotel - right on the beach front with a great view across the bay. It was around 10 minutes from the Koh Samui airport which is very handy if you have just come off a flight ✈️ Hotel room was clean, nice size and beach towels were provided. 10/10 from me 🤩

Ppippat2023Lovely place by the beach and had the most gorgeous meal in the restaurant. We heard about their open mic night and decided to give it a go and so pleased we did. It was fab and the standard of musicians was incredible, would highly recommend it. Great variety of food and drink in the restaurant too; one of our party has a serious nut allergy and the chef and staff were so accommodating and took all precautions as requested. The resort we are staying at were sadly unable to accommodate completely nut free food which was very disappointing so finding places who will do this really helps. Beer was served ice COLD too and the rose wine! The added bonus was seeing the beach dogs and how the locals look after them, heartwarming. This is a beautiful spot and well worth a visit.

GGuest User10 mins walking to the main road, but there is a 7/11 right outside the hotel and some local eatries. I like this location cause is quiet away from the busy touristic area. Nice pool to cool of a hot day, hopefully they will be in full operation with nice setting restaurant n pool bar. The room was nice n clean with full kitchen equipments provided. Lovely owner n friendly staff. Will be back.
