Sea Dance Resort

Really nice environment. We went to the Thai cooking school and that was a good experience. Thank U very much in deed! We would like to go back again. We can offer for people how likes a jungel style, not a 5 * Hotel but everything is nice, and almost perfect. Staff is helpfull and kind as well Istvan and Orsi from Hungary

We stayed for three nights and this was our last hotel before returning home, having stayed at 10 hotels during our 3 week Thailand trip. It was probably the place I was looking forward to staying at the most based on the reviews. Unfortunately I was very disappointed ☹️ The general feel of the resort is that it's a tired and frayed round the edges. For example, a few issues were that there were tiles missing in the swimming pool, the windows in our room ( we paid extra for one with a pool) were absolutely filthy which ruined the sea view and the sheets were obviously darned. We removed the quilt from its cover as it was too hot for the weather and the quilt was obviously old and stained - the stuffing wasn't evenly distributed any more. Our room was much too light at night - there were lights underneath the bed (I've never seen this before!) which we couldn't work out how to turn off. The service was ok although we had to chase up having our room serviced the first day we were there. Food - the pre-prepared "hot" items at breakfast such as potato gratin, bacon etc were stone cold. We only ate dinner in the resort once and the food was unremarkable with mine having no real flavour. You can walk to a 7/11 from the resort and there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but other than that you really need your own transport. We hired a scooter. The sea was very rough when we were there but I'm not sure we would have gone in anyway as it was very rocky. We had prepaid for this accommodation which was a shame as otherwise we would have left and gone somewhere else.

One of the best hotel experiences of my life! Lek and the rest of the staff make you feel so welcomed and will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable! The Thai cooking class is a must and the chef is so wonderful! We loved our villa and the food throughout our stay was incredible, we wished we could have stayed longer! The Sea Dance Resort is hands down the best managed and designed resort I've been to. The staff and management is extremely service minded, always making sure you're ok. The rooms and outdoor bathrooms are great and clean, and the villas are nicely separated from each other. On the negative side, the food is expensive and transport from the hotel to the town are just ridicously expensive. Stayed there in the summer of 2017.

The bed in this hotel is absolutely incredible ! I think this bed and the pillows are the best I have ever experienced. The staff cannot do enough to help, their manners are incredible and they go the extra mile. We stayed in a private pool villa, the pool was slightly smaller than I expected but it was lovely. We spent most of our time by the main pool, it was so quiet and looking over the beach is amazing. We also loved the beach because it was so peaceful and the water is amazing, we recommend sea shoes as getting in is rocky. The breakfast could have more variety for vegetarians and the shower head needs replacing, the shower only gets luke warm.

The photographs cannot do this place justice, lovely location and so peaceful, our villa with private pool was heaven, loved the sounds and feel of nature all around us , main pool was beautiful with great views , restaurant for breakfast and other meals was good too , but it’s the staff who make the difference, and everyone was so professional, helpful and always smiling , special mention to “ Al” who made us feel like friends instead of customers, would recommend and use again, thank you all , Stuart & Marian

Amazing resort. Rooms and facilities were great with beautiful furnishings, lots of room, and eco-friendly. All the bases covered with towels for the pool / beach provided, kayaks and paddle boards available for free, selection of books to read. The pool area in particular was excellent with an amazing view out onto a private beach, food and bar options and great service. Would absolutely recommend to anyone travelling to Samui
