Peter Pan Resort @ Koh Kood

Considering this was our most expensive accommodation on a 3 week tour of Thailand (Approx £178 per night for 2 adults and 1 child) this was our most disappointing hotel. We booked the ground floor Sea Horse so we’d have easy access to the beach and pool. First impressions were good, the views were incredible. However on closer inspection the bathroom was awful. It felt dirty, well in need of updating and had a terrible sewer smell, to the point we didn’t want to use it. The towels and sheets were all stained. Although the room was huge there’s no furniture to unpack anything, or surfaces to put anything. The kettle is no where near a plug. And there’s an unnecessary full size fridge freezer, when a wardrobe would be more useful. Although there was a large deck by the pool there was no drying rack and no seating which would have been nice to make the most of the pool which was pretty much just for decoration. The breakfast was terrible with very little choice. The staff were mostly indifferent, never very friendly or smiley. The only redeeming feature was the beach which was absolutely stunning. Though only 12 sun loungers for the whole resort. To warrant the price they’re charging they need to completely renovate the bathrooms, invest in some furniture and towels.
Koh Kood Beach Resort

Everything was wonderful. The idea of an open-air bathroom is more interesting than convenient. As for the place itself: everything would be ok, but apparently the Thais are ok with the fact that the beach, on which they actually live, is littered with garbage, and there are bags and plugs floating in the water near the shore. As a result (and we were at several resorts on the island), eco-entertainment appears - vacationers themselves clean the water and the beach from garbage, put it in one place, and the staff smiles and watches this...... apparently this is a local feature.
Soneva Kiri

Facilities: I have stayed in the best hotel in Thailand and the founder of Six Senses, so it is quite similar to Six Senses, but it feels better than Six Senses Koh Samui. Maybe the location and the pick-up by private jet and yacht will make the experience even more upgraded. The brightest point is that the hotel's breakfast is superb Environment: very good feeling back to nature Hygiene: excellent and impeccable Very satisfied with the 3-week trip to Thailand. Soneva is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Thailand. From the environment to the service to the additional items of the hotel, I recommend everyone to go diving and fishing. The price is also very reasonable. I plan to go there again at the end of the year

Rooms and site is great but service is way below standard BUT FIXABLE IF THEY JUST GET RID OF PHONES AND SMILE … everywhere else in SE Asia staff are told no phones on duty and the smiles in SE Asia are contagious … To The Sea needs to get their act in order … 1. 55 year olds had to navigate when get off a speedboat along a narrow bridge .. No one greets you .. very scary 2. Staff on their phones 24/7 at the bar, main desk, dining room .. constantly having to disturb staff on their phones to get water, their attention Breakfast is at 7 but staff are so busy on phones it doesn’t start till 730 and even then food is all stock … chilis and condiments empty day one still empty day 4 3. Staff at bar more interested in their phones then serving staff. We were inconveniencing them 4. ONLY Mr Green seems interested to do his job of the waiting staff. Staff need some supervision to get off their phones and get to work 5. Staff at free water toys need to get off phone and assist with booking, moving boats etc .. New guests need assistance navigating over the rocks 6. Cleaning staff and groundskeepers are AMAZING ..they actually smile and maintain the property the best on the bay The site is amazing The rooms are amazing The grounds are amazing BUT be ready to eat next door for service !!!
High Season Pool Villa & Spa

Usually a hotel or resort doesn't live up to the advertising but in this case it definitely does. Koh Kood is a beautiful island and this resort is amazing. Incredible location on a stunning beach, amazing facilities and fantastic staff. The deluxe pool villa was well-appointed with everything i needed, including a delightful little pool. The resort's galaxy pool is big and looks straight across the lawn to the beach. Every single staff member I came across was friendly, helpful and professional. I hope to come back to this beautiful resort another time.
Jungle Koh Kood Resort

Not very impressed with this accommodation. The location of the resort is not close to the sea. Should pay more attention to the design of the room. And pull people to feel that staying here and feel better The most not okay is the bathroom that is very narrow and is a wooden floor, breaking the groove, see the pipe, see the pond below, all holes When will spiders come up? There is no dry and wet partition. The sink is crafted wood. But the water leaks down The feet are also wet. The position of the cloth hangers is opposite the shower. Which opens the shower, the bath towels are wet as well. Fur-layout layout and the selection of furniture is not through, such as the bed, should put the bed for the visitors to enter. Easy and uncomfortable, small bed, small mosquito net, very small mirrors, the mirror in the bathroom is very small. The mirror placed outside the bathroom is a circulation place, which should not come to the door at all! The cloth rail in front of the house found that the clothes rail is in a place where there is no wooden floor to walk to hang. Have to turn to hang difficult to use Usually like to take pictures of the room Accommodation to recommend others But at this resort, I would like to say goodbye, I didn't take anything in the bad, the good thing is the central building. Fair design, but don't In detail, if you look detailed, it will not be beautiful immediately. Breakfast service /bar / restaurant. Our service staff is good enough. I want the owner of the resort to know as well.
