Great hotel! Very beautiful area by the pool and the sea, especially incredibly beautiful in the evening. The prices in the restaurant are adequate, inexpensive and everything was delicious to us! Cocktails are also very good. Breakfast is quite poor, but there is something to eat. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. Having swept around the island, we realized that this beach is the best) there are no shops and cafes near the hotel (it takes about 15 minutes to walk, probably). We always ate at the hotel. Rented bikes directly at the hotel for 300 baht/day. The bungalows, of course, are very interesting: they are made of wood, the audibility is very good, but this did not bother us. At night, it's fun to listen to the sounds of the jungle. Sometimes it was scary that someone would crawl into the house, as they wrote in the reviews, but we didn’t have any “guests” at all. We really liked everything. We will definitely come back here again!
Facilities: I have stayed in the best hotel in Thailand and the founder of Six Senses, so it is quite similar to Six Senses, but it feels better than Six Senses Koh Samui. Maybe the location and the pick-up by private jet and yacht will make the experience even more upgraded. The brightest point is that the hotel's breakfast is superb
Environment: very good feeling back to nature
Hygiene: excellent and impeccable
Very satisfied with the 3-week trip to Thailand. Soneva is the best hotel I have ever stayed in in Thailand. From the environment to the service to the additional items of the hotel, I recommend everyone to go diving and fishing. The price is also very reasonable. I plan to go there again at the end of the year
Considering this was our most expensive accommodation on a 3 week tour of Thailand (Approx £178 per night for 2 adults and 1 child) this was our most disappointing hotel. We booked the ground floor Sea Horse so we’d have easy access to the beach and pool. First impressions were good, the views were incredible. However on closer inspection the bathroom was awful. It felt dirty, well in need of updating and had a terrible sewer smell, to the point we didn’t want to use it. The towels and sheets were all stained. Although the room was huge there’s no furniture to unpack anything, or surfaces to put anything. The kettle is no where near a plug. And there’s an unnecessary full size fridge freezer, when a wardrobe would be more useful. Although there was a large deck by the pool there was no drying rack and no seating which would have been nice to make the most of the pool which was pretty much just for decoration. The breakfast was terrible with very little choice. The staff were mostly indifferent, never very friendly or smiley. The only redeeming feature was the beach which was absolutely stunning. Though only 12 sun loungers for the whole resort. To warrant the price they’re charging they need to completely renovate the bathrooms, invest in some furniture and towels.

The Ko Kut Ao Phrao Beach Resort is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Koh Kood will find that the Ko Kut Ao Phrao Beach Resort is a fantastic accommodation choice. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Wat Ao Phrao, Ao Jark Bay and Beach and Ao Phrao Strand. Amazing beach! The hotel area is a well-kept garden, very beautiful. Great breakfasts!
The prices are not low, but with discounts it is quite an acceptable price/quality ratio.
The hotel has not been renovated for a long time, but after the pandemic, cosmetic repairs and major cleaning are noticeable. Although the covering on the verandas still needs replacing - just nails are sticking out in places - the child was not allowed to run around there. The hotel restaurant is probably the most frustrating thing, the prices are super high, the quality of the food is low: for almost 500 baht (price 400 + fees + taxes), we got a pizza with a diameter of 30 cm from frozen dough. This is a fiasco, bro. In general, only beer and then for 150 baht. There is all the infrastructure on the road 800 meters away, including fruits and cafes and hardware stores, but 800 meters uphill) you can ask the hotel transport to take you there, but back on foot, albeit from a hill))) but with almost no lighting. Karrche needs to take a bike, 300 baht per day, by the way, it’s brand new.
In general, for the experience of a paradise for 7900 rubles / night - it’s the best!
It was a 3-day-and-2-night trip with my friends and my 9-year-old daughter so we booked 2 villas with a private swimming pool. The villas are not new or super neatly cleaned but all are okay and kind of acceptable. The best thing is the resort staff. They are super nice, fun and friendly. They are ready to drop everything they are doing just to talk to you and answer your question. No matter how silly it is! They make me feel like they are ready to solve all the problems in the world for you, if asked! My daughter loves fishing there (even though she didn't get any fish lol). We borrowed the fishing rod from one of the nicest (probably) front desk staff who didn't seem to be bothered spending time teaching my daughter how to safely use the equipment. Wish I could ask for his name before we left. So I could give him better compliment. The view is just magical. Kayaking is also super fun. The Food is ways, ways better than we expected. The night bartender is a super cool & funny guy. He hosted the funniest Hermit crab racing in the world!
Great location, and good, spacious rooms (although it takes time to get used to locking the doors). However, staff service is poor. At breakfast, staff doesn’t seem to be happy with what they’re doing and would sometimes ignore guests. The staff cooking the eggs were kind though. Resort also doesn’t offer ground coffee drinks so we got stuck with powdered coffee until we found out about the two coffee shops that are walking distance from the resort. Food can be improved too: breakfast’s okay but doesn’t offer diversity. You’ll get bored with the food after a few days. Beach and the sunset is marvelous though!
[Location] The location is okay. At the far north of the west coast, get off the pier and get off at the first stop of the free shuttle bus. It is close to the sea and has a coastline of several hundred meters. The seat is located at the Zhaoyun Canal Wharf, but it is not actually at this wharf. In fact, it is near the seashore. You can see the beautiful sunset, but the sunrise is invisible.
[Environment] The homestay environment is average. It feels that the shop started to make beds when it saw someone coming. The quilt cover and pillowcase didn't feel very clean. No shampoo or shampoo is provided, and there are only three small soaps. Provide roll paper. The kitchen can be used for cooking.
[Store] I didn't see the store from start to finish. The only time I contacted the store was by phone. I asked if there was a room. When I checked in, I waited for a long time. A Thai person similar to the store staff came out and told me the wifi password. Then we gave us porridge-like breakfast and toast every day.
Since I settled on the pier at Goubong Island, the budget is around 300, I do n’t know how to ride a motorcycle, and I want to live near the sea. This place is generally good. The return ferry ticket and chartered tour are booked at the homestay next door. The brother and sister of the homestay next door are very enthusiastic. The English of the sister paper is good. There is a seafood restaurant next to it, which can solve lunch and dinner. Charters are a bit expensive for two thousand baht eight hours a day. Friendly reminders, everyone on the island brings delicious food and snacks. The consumption on the island is a bit expensive.

Bang Bao Beach
TThe Tabi BuddiesThe beach has very clear water (but there are some pieces of plastic). The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. You can lie down and watch the sea all day.
Khlong Chao Waterfall
IIZE.FindEatFunKhlong Chao Waterfall is a medium-sized waterfall, overall height 10 meters, with 3 floors in total. The ground floor has a large pool that is quite clear and clean. It is very suitable for playing in the water to cool off. At the top is a stone stream with water flowing down below. until it forms a beautiful scenery
Ao Phrao Beach
KKate Kaytlynstunning sea view, you can see plenty of tiny fishes swimming around you. there is a cafe on the beach. serving foods and drinks. Coffee Smoothies Beer and many more with reasonable price. i think pretty cheap than the other restaurants that I had in the island.
Ko Rang
TTodemmyThe Thai government is doing a good job in protecting the natural environment. This island and the neighbouring islands form the Ko Rang Marine National Park. The coral reefs of Ko Yak Lek are very beautiful. However, the disadvantage of this water is that it has a depth of more than 3 meters and is therefore not the best place to dive. Ko Tao and Ko Lipe would be better. There are also many tourists coming here to swim (most of them snorkel in life jackets), large fish mostly hidden in coral reefs, only a few smaller fish can be found, but few species. In fact, if you come in May, you can also go to Ko Mak and Ko Kuud. However, Ko Rang will also close from June to October. Early May to mid May is the best time since the off-season is just beginning.
Huang Nam Khiao Waterfall
Ppxy0705This is a freshwater waterfall on the island of Liao, the waterfall is deep in the forest, the water volume is not particularly large, but there is such a natural freshwater waterfall in the sea, which is also a wonder. The area flowing through the waterfall is a large stream, where you can enjoy fishing and fishing, full of wild fun.
