Well, the last little remark, speaking about the attitude and sensitivity of the staff: we arrived on my husband's birthday and did not even hear the banal "happy birthday" at the check-in. Short stay with Family and friends at Trident Cochin was comfortable. Rooms are clean and well maintained with all the required facilities. Breakfast spread is good with many available options. Pool and all facilities are maintained well. Will surely plan to visit again.

Trident all over India have been our family favourite in their early years but clearly it’s a sunsetting brand. It was co-incidental that I chose Trident Kochi for a team retreat in its last days under EIH (it apparently will change ownership in two weeks to Fern Group). So in many ways this is my homage to this great brand of Oberoi’s which served many a fond memories for my family at their Jaipur, Agra and Udaipur properties (not sure how long they will survive). Onto Trident Kochi, KK the GM was always at hand to make me and my team feel welcomed and well taken care of. I want to call out Ayush in the F&B team who outdid himself in service (though would sadly move out of Trident in 2 weeks - truly their loss). As most other properties of Trident, Kochi appears run down now - the smell of wood though still brings back nostalgia. I wish the staff and team at Trident Kochi the very best in the next pursuits. You have kept the Oberoi flag flying high - go well !!

Really nicely built and maintained property, gives you a vibe of a resort. Great hospitality and excellent breakfast spread. Kids enjoyed the pool sling with a game of badminton. Conveniently located with access to transport and eating joints. Jetty station at walking distance.
