The Narima Lanta Island

This is a resort that has a soul! We stayed at the Narima during the pandemics. It was almost empty, but this was a great experience. We were looking for a calm place with a ”hidden” beach. The service and the food was excellent, the staff very friendly and the owners came by our table for a chat. We had a rare ”hidden paradice” feeling during our week-long stay. Narima is close to the road, but you do not notice it. The vegetation is varied which gives good shade throughout the day. The pool stays cool thanks to the spring water supply. The nicely terrased lay-out of the resort gives many different views and possibilities to hang out. . The beach is natural with sand and rocks and enjoyable even during ebb. For the kids there are lots of nice rocks, shells and crabs to collect! When you feel lazy, you may just spend time in the hammock on the balcony of your bungalow. Thanks for a great stay! Verona Lanta Resort

This resort is exceptional: the bungalows are brand new, large, luxurious, very comfortable (the bedding is of very good quality), with a pleasant terrace where you can admire the sunsets. The pool is big and beautiful, you can swim in it. The landscaped garden is beautiful. Everything is built and decorated with perfect taste, it's a treat. It's very quiet and 2 minutes walk from the charming Old Lanta Town, a 7-Eleven and a small market. The staff (two brothers and their parents) are absolutely adorable, caring, very available and very efficient. We were able to rent a scooter thanks to them and they made the bus and boat reservations for us for the rest of our trip. We absolutely loved our one week stay there. We recommend 200%.
Baan Reena Resort

The hotel does not have a hair dryer. Other than that, I am quite satisfied. The room is surrounded by green plants, especially in the morning when the outdoor air is very fresh. Those who like rural scenery can choose it. The service staff is friendly, the hotel is cost-effective, and it is worth the money , and 2 popular dogs as guards

Small resort full of charm in the heart of a picturesque garden you will be welcomed as at home, the bungalows are new and modern very comfortable bedding new air conditioning, 9 bungalows at present including 4 equipped with kitchenette and 2 future rooms here early December. It is possible to rent scooters on site, the owners are local to the island of Koh Lanta and will be able to guide you in your search.
Lanta Maikeaw Bungalow

We are teachers and we travel with two 5 year old children for 3 months in South East Asia. In all this time we had never had such a bad experience in any accommodation. We had booked a triple room with a kitchen at the Lanta Maikeaw and on arrival we were given a much smaller, dirty bungalow with cracks where all sorts of bugs could get in. The owner had a booking message with confirmation of the most basic bungalow. We had a confirmation from Agoda with the upper bungalow. But what was really disappointing was the owner's attitude. She completely ignored the problem, as the triple room was occupied by another family. We proposed her to change the second night to a superior room and also compensate for the night we would spend in the more basic bungalow. She replied that she was sleeping and that we could but pay much more. Pitiful. Right in front of us and on the same road there are new, air-conditioned, clean bungalows for the same price or a little more. Obviously we didn't spend the second night there. We'd rather lose the money.
Dream Team Beach Resort

I was here for the first time in February 2018 and I found it very good, so I wanted to come back this year. We booked 2 standard rooms ( this year we are at 4, 2 pairs, )which we had to upgrade directly after a short walk. In a room, the water hairdryer and the shower weren't even going. We were shown two ”different” bungalows. The only difference was that one had a bathtub and the other we had then had only a shower. All rooms we had been shown or we wanted, We have come to the very old (can't say anything about the rooms with sea view and those directly at the pool. ) Our room has come down and far from today's standard, even for Thai conditions. The AC can be set in the temperature, but not the ventilator itself, so very loud. The temperature of the shower cannot be set properly. Clean is not done properly, the bed is not directed but is not freshly obtained. Wet is wiped as I can't see it, with a bean shortly walking. To the restaurant: The terrace that I and many others have found right on the beach, no longer exists!!! The food is all other than recommendable . We were eating 2x in our 13 days stay there, it was almost unsupplied. For this I can recommend the restaurant about 50m the street direction Pier highly. The pool is beautiful and clean, the sea right in front of the nose. Unfortunately, by flat stones it is difficult to reach something. The Lord at the reception above is very friendly and helpful, with him you realize that makes him the job fun. The rest of the staff is also very friendly but rather distant. The massage is really recommended, you can hear the sea smoking next to your pool (it is rather to do in the evening when the pool is free 😄) and you can enjoy it right.
