We visited Karuizawa in the winter and stayed at the Shinonome Salon. It's only about a 10 minute brisk walk from the Karuizawa shinkansen station along pavements so easy to pull your luggage along with you. The name is confusing but I guess they wanted to call their hotel a saloon but ended up spelling it like a hairdresser. Check-in was smooth and without incident. We arrived late in the evening and although only one person was on duty they did expect us. Our booking.com form was printed out ready for our check-in. There are no elevators in this hotel so you have to lug your baggage up the stairs yourself. The old man who I think is resident there tried to help but he struggled with our heavy suitcases. If you're not strong and your baggage is heavy you might want to request the bottom floor. One annoying feature of the hotel is that you cannot wear your own shoes past the lobby area. You need to switch out of your shoes and place them in the provided lockers and wear the provided slip-ons instead. Annoying but I can live with it. The rooms are small and the toilet tiny. But they are clean. No rollaways for a third person possible in this room. The two beds were small singles. I notice chips on all furniture in the room probably caused by suitcases hitting the furniture given the tight space available. While not pretty to look at it didn't take away from the cleanliness in general. The toilet has a japanese style bathtub which is deep and requires a big step over. Anyone with disabilities might find it a bit difficult. I guess the tub acts as a makeshift onsen. The room includes amenities but I recommend you bring your own soap and shampoo. Hotel amenities in Japan are micro sized and barely adequate and are just a token gesture. The room has a heater and kept the room warm but all the switches were in Japanese. I did figure out how to adjust the temperature eventually. Breakfast was good and adequate even for the largest of appetites and I recommend you include this in your stay. My android phone was able to pick up Wifi in the room but not Apple iPhones. They did say at check-in Wifi was available only in the lobby area. Overall a decent comfortable stay and will consider staying again in future.

Compared to Tokyo, Karuizawa has much fewer people. The hotel is one stop away from the station. The environment is very quiet and suitable for vacation. The rooms are in Western style, relatively large, clean and tidy, and the service staff are also very enthusiastic.

One of the hotels I don't want to teach a few of them. I renovated the place where it was the original 々 store and was in the hotel, but I had a good sense and stayed in New York well, but I feel like I remind you of that time. The size is sufficient and the amenities are substantial. The Japanese room I stayed in also has floor heating, so comfortable and so reasonable hotel is the first time. Usually stay in a foreign hotel chain, but it doesn't pull at all. The staff is also very friendly and polite. I would like to come again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this brand new hotel. Although it has been open for a couple of months, they have kept everything spotless. The lobby with open fire is beautiful and a comfortable area to have a drink and relax. The room itself was also incredibly clean and everything worked well including the WiFi. The hanten jackets were in the colours of the Ukranian flag which was a nice touch. The breakfast was good, as was the restaurant in the evening. The public bath was a nice place to soak after dinner. Service was good although it's clear the team was new and still training - I am sure this will change in time. Small criticim is there was no room service menu in the room. This was fine as it was on the TV but navigating to the menu needed Japanese skills. The architecture and general design is fantastic, as are the fittings and the carpets are just beautiful - same as all new IHG properties I think.

Because it was a business hotel price of the Chisan group, I was able to stay at a fairly good price in the Goto campaign. It was good to get a regional ticket for 2000 yen and buy beer and snacks at a nearby convenience store and stay cheaper than staying overnight. I wanted to see the red leaves of unba Ike pond, so I used it to go early in the morning in front of me, but it was the correct answer with breakfast plan. It was delicious! I will use it again

The front desk 竹村, on June 18th 10:50, she told us there’s no pick up service after check out (there is), without offering any assistance to deliver our bags to the station. We feel that the staffs are poorly trained when it comes to the hotel facility nor their communication skills. The hotel itself is highly enjoyable especially the hot spring! Everything is brand new and the surroundings are epic! I’m sorry to have to minus one star because of 竹村’s poor reaction to customers’ requests.

Perfect
MMeiwaI come to Karuizawa every year. This time I chose Mori Four Seasons Villa Hotel for two nights and I was very satisfied. The room is very tidy, the wooden floors are spotless (I don't really like carpets in hotels, they always feel unclean, I prefer floors that look clean, but unfortunately most hotels have carpets), and the kitchen and bathroom seem to be new. The dyson hair dryer and le labo bathroom supplies are top-notch. The most comfortable thing is the bedding. I don’t know why it is so soft and comfortable, full of enveloping feeling, but not hot. It feels like it is breathing close to the body. After asking the boss, I found out that it is a double-layer cotton yarn made by hand using traditional Japanese processes. The cost is very high. It's high, that's why it's so comfortable. I've already asked for the brand information and placed an order in the store, haha. The furniture and decoration in the room are in line with my taste, Nordic fusion Japanese modern style. It was an early spring night and it was still a bit cold in Karuizawa. It was the first time for the children to experience the stove in the room. The flames were very beautiful and the room warmed up in no time. We had dinner next to the nearby Hoshino Onsen on the first night, and had a BBQ bonfire in the yard on the second night. The children were very happy. The building we live in has a large yard and an outdoor wooden floor terrace. Sitting on the outdoor terrace, we look at the scenery of the forest in the yard, Karuizawa in spring, the air and night are so comfortable. The hotel also has employees cleaning the rooms every day at noon. The boss can communicate in Chinese without any barriers. Karuizawa is really suitable for vacation. The experience of the villa hotel is completely different from the ordinary hotels in the past. I like it very much. I will try it when I come back in a different season next time. The owner's wood fired restaurant.

TTrip805673It is easy to understand because it is close to Karuizawa Station and is located on the main street. However, it is difficult to understand the entrance of the hotel, but I wondered if I should enter from the restaurant. Only standard double rooms are available for dogs. It's pretty narrow. It feels like a stylish business hotel. The bed is comfortable. There is a large dog gauge toilet sheet and a butt wipe. The bathroom and toilet are in the same room, but they are large. I was interested in the toilet. Should I remove the toilet seat when cleaning? The amenities were in a cute cloth bag for two people, but there was no toothbrush in one cloth bag. There are 2 bottles of mineral water in the wine cellar. It's a pity that there is no pot. It would be nice to have a water server that can produce hot water without a pot. There are 2 coin laundry machines. Ice maker, juice and alcohol are sold by themselves. The restaurant is delicious, but the amount of dinner and morning is large, and the contents are covered, so it seems that you will get tired of staying for consecutive nights or using it frequently ... The taste is strong (good compatibility with alcohol) Even for people with small children I was there, but maybe my kids aren't likely to eat it. Dessert also has an adult taste. The restaurant is very cold near the entrance and on the window side and requires a coat. All the staff are kind. It is cheap considering the food and convenience for the price. Especially recommended for those who want to enjoy the whole of Karuizawa and enjoy Spanish cuisine. I want to use it again.

GGuest UserThis time, it was the first Karuizawa. There are almost all tourist spots in the metropolitan area, and I think it is better to go often because everyone likes hot springs and hotels. There are still elementary school students, and you can't stay in a luxury hotel easily. What you look forward to is facilities and cooking. Dinner is mostly Viking response because I always go to stay suddenly. This time it was a continuous holiday, but I thought it was empty because it was a typhoon time, and Karuizawa and outlet were very crowded. But does it cost parking fees with this wide outlet? (it becomes free if it is used) it is traffic jam because of the gate. Because the staff decreased in the corona, the food court is not completely insufficient. It is a problem mountain area in various places. And the hotel. I liked the pool and the pool, but I was surprised by the phone in advance. Because it is 4 people with two children, it is assumed that it is an extra or a sofa bed, and the additional bed makeup is good for one person because it wants to use the room widely. If you contact me, you will be free to make a bed with your customer. Pay the price of elementary school students properly and pay 90000 for breakfast 4 people for 1 night! It is surprising that you can make a bed. And the bath mat of the bath is quite messy. 1 The surprise was the chopsticks. Because dinner is crowded and cannot be booked, take out without permission. There is also a take-out in the hotel, but it is 15 o'clock check-in, but the deadline is 16 o'clock. If you take out outside without a kettle, there is no kettle, and if you go to the front desk, there is no front desk already in the evening. Do you have a kettle for the staff who came out by interphone? When I heard that, I was told to buy it at the store. I bought a 110 yen chopsticks from a unfriendly aunt. I really stayed at various hotels and inns, but I was the first to go to the store and buy it, although there were almost all the places to deliver the chopsticks to the room. The bed makeup is the first time except for the cottage, and this service is at this amount. It is the first experience. There was no such thing in a business hotel or a first-class hotel. If you don't have enough people and you don't have enough money, you have to. It is the impression that Karuizawa is a tourist destination, and it is a tourist destination with a considerable gathering power, but it is wasteful far away and wasteful money. There are many places where you can play likewise and have the same nature. Thanks to the emperor's family, I recommend it to those who are drunk and spend money.

EExplore809007Repeated but lowered evaluation. Last time I raised it as a problem, but I didn't see improvement in the PVC (Prince Vacation Club) priority stance, so I down from evaluation 4 to 3. Evaluation that ”3” may also visit. This hotel was highly valued for valuable hotels around Karuizawa, which can be relaxed on the balcony, but the PVC priority in the restaurant again and the attitude of the hotel guest inferiority is in the hotel staff and the uncomfortable feeling I couldn't forbid it, so I started looking for other hotels. (I told several staff about the problem, but it was not shared by other staff at all, and this is the hotel policy, and it seems that it is daring to do it) Personally, Prince Hotel is used at high frequency It is already a feeling that it is already a feeling that it is responded to such a feeling of discrimination. If you maintain the current policy on the stance to hotel guests, it is better to become a PVC specialty hotel (although others have pointed out)? The restaurant also has a low quality of food for the price and the impression that the meal ratio is too much. There was a case of 々, and the personal evaluation dramatically worsened. It is lonely that the hotel that I liked changed.

GGuest UserOur stay at the hotel was great! Being a Marriott Bonvoy member allowed us a nice upgrade for our room. Onsite staff spoke English very well. The room was very orderly and spacious. Also, this Marriott was one of the few hotels I have been to that had the room allergy ready when I told them I was allergic to feathers on the reservation. The free beverages (beer, wine, cocktails, juice, and soda) and hot meals during the membership lounge time were nice. The public bath was very clean and relaxing. The management team went above and beyond! We asked the doorman to arrange a taxi to get to a local restaurant. Instead, he worked with the assistant manager, who told us he would personally drive us to the restaurant (even included a return trip!) The breakfast buffet was excellent and had both American and Japanese fare. I will recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family who visit the area.

GGuest UserThe breakfast buffet was impressive, beautifully arranged and delicious. It was the nicest breakfast buffet I’d ever seen. The restaurant staff were really nice. Hotel offered a complimentary “shuttle service” which is a ride in two really nice Mercedes cars. This service is just to certain spots. Drivers spoke good English and were really nice. The reception staff was a bit of hid and miss, some spoke good enough English and some were considerably better. They were never rude but maybe not as friendly as in other places we stayed. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. They had special amenities for children and super cute pjs. It is a really nice boutique hotel.

GGuest UserCost performance is the best hotel. The price is middle class, but the quality is only a luxury hotel. So please stay for a while. I write the improvement points afterwards, but it is a level that you don't have to hesitate to stay because it is trivial. The first is that there are few amenities. There is no cosmetic water or body cream system in particular. It is not possible because it is a recent flow, but I think it is the best if there is. The second is hot spring. The facilities and atmosphere are the best, but it is difficult to sit slowly because the water flow in the bathtub is strong. It's flowing sideways. The staff is perfect if you have another step of hospitality. If you carry out training like Hyatt, I think it's worth it even if it's 20% plus at a price.

GGrandTour803448In Karuizawa, I usually stay at a hotel in front of the genre, but sometimes I change my intention... and stay here in the Japanese style room. A hotel is a cottage even in front of the genre, so there are some places where the distance to walk skiing is long, but it is convenient because it sends you to the front of the ski center. Also, if you eat at the outlet early in the evening, you will still be in time for free transfer bus time, so you can not walk on the snowy road at night. The restaurant in the hotel is clean and delicious, and lunch is very recommended.

堇茉Although it is far from the station, it is very convenient to have someone to pick it up by car. In the morning, you will be booked with you to determine the time to go. The only inconvenience is that there is no supper in my order. There are no convenience stores around. Other play facilities and hot spring bath facilities are ok The prices are also very clean. I also arranged a large room for me alone I ate breakfast at the hotel in the morning and loved waking up in the forest early in the morning. Reservations must be made in advance (Japanese and English) Waiting for pick-up at the general parking lot at Nakaruizawa Station, there will be signs on the car
