The hotel is located quite far from Karuizawa JR station. There is a pickup bus service every half an hour outside the south exit of the station. However the bus is very small and can be quite full at times, causing people to rush onto the bus. It would be better if the hotel could set up a better queue-up system or adjust the frequency of the pickup bus service. By the way you can deposit luggage at the customer centre next to the pickup bus stop and have them transferred to the hotel for you. I thought the hotel did not advertise the service enough as it is very useful and effective in creating more passenger space in the pickup bus. Breakfast at the hotel is not buffet style, so went to the Prince Karuizawa West hotel to have breakfast instead. During non-peak hours the hotel offers individual transportation for free so that is definitely a plus. The Momiji hot spring is definitely a must-visit. Clean, modern, hygienic, exactly what I look for in a hot spring. Overall service is excellent.

We had a wonderful stay in Karuizawa, with Marriot providing a good environment for our rest overnight. The hotel room is quite spacious though a bit old style. Short driving distance to all tourist spots nearby! The car park is good and was free! Will definitely come back again!

The staff are all very friendly and helpful from driver to receptionist to cleaning staff. We have a pleasant stay in this hotel. The pick up service to and from JR station as well as the snow house are a plus for us. Furthermore, the breakfast variety as well as freshness of ingredients are highly appreciated. They are nice enough to give me a ride after my checkout for picking my luggages back . Overall speaking , I will recommend to others of this hotel .

I arrived at the hotel early, so I parked my car and left my luggage. Even if I walked through Karuizawa Ginza and was tired and came back, I asked for a little early check-in to drink tea in the lounge. But what about the welcome drink at check-in? I was asked, and for a moment ... ! I wanted to say that there was a welcome drink ahead. The room was upgraded and thanked. When you enter the room, everything is excellent! Cleaning is well done, the room is large enough and the quality of the bed is quite good. The hard side is the best. But the breakfast ingredients and seasoning were room for improvement, and the dining service was family level. We look forward to the up of manpower. We will stay again. Thank you for your help. There are three rooms in the two-story villa, one of which has four beds and the other two beds. Each room has a bathtub. The open-air hot spring in the room is very small and can only accommodate one person, but the bathroom has a large jacuzzi and a TV. The vacation is really great. The ski resort is very close, and you can play at the age of three. Aolai has a few big names that are still expensive. The sukiyaki pot and teppanyaki in the hotel are great. If you bring children, it is more suitable than Hoshino, and Hoshino Hot Spring can not go. The hot spring in the hotel is already very good. There is a big supermarket, Delice, which is 15 minutes by taxi. You can buy things and cook in the room. The cooking in the room is very convenient. The waiter can wash the dishes. It is perfect.

We stayed in the cottage D, very old facilities, it’s a nice place but they should consider change their all appliances in the room, cos too old already. It’s very inconvenient that they don’t have a shuttle from cottage to lobby, we need to call them everytime we go out instead. The ski place was all man made snow, we were disappointed. We thought want to let the kids experience snow..
