Location is a 15-min walk from the JR station. Within walking distance from shops and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very clean an tidy, the bathroom is bigger than others I had in Japan. Overall good experience with the price that I paid.

I was able to slip back in time to the good old days of Karuizawa. I am grateful to the building and staff for adding nothing and subtracting nothing, yet still being so charming.

Very beautiful small house, the room is big (for Japan), very cost-effective. The service is very good. The waiter can speak English, Japanese and Chinese. The surrounding environment is also very beautiful, full of small houses and forests. It takes a few minutes to get to Karuizawa Station by taxi for 800 yen. The hotel has a shuttle bus. To go to the Stone Church, there is a bus stop 6 minutes walk from the hotel (not many buses), and a taxi is about 3000 yen one way.
