Hotels near Ceylon Tea Museum in Kandy

The location is hidden, half an hour off the road from Kandy. Next to the river, the view is very good, the restaurant breakfast is good, it is indoor and relatively clean. Villa Shenandoah is a classy small hotel locating on the mountain being away from traffic and noise of cars of a big city Kandy. The hotel landscape has been occupied by big trees and beautiful flowers that offer guests relax and peaceful atmosphere. The main building where lobby and dining room situated is in a colonial style, classy decorated and well-maintained. The room which I stayed for couple nights was beautiful, well-equipped, clean and with balcony that overlooked beautiful mountain view and clear blue sky. Breakfast was yummy and good quality. Services were incredible and reliable. Staffs were very attention to details and professional. I felt truly relax and happy while staying at this hotel and do hope to come back again.

The environment is much better than in Kandy. Going through a bumpy road. It's very gray. Sometimes it's blocked. The hotel was nice to check in early when we checked in that day. As the brother of the Tutu bus in Colombo was too enthusiastic to help us buy a seven-point train ticket, the next morning at breakfast, Ms. Checkin came over to say one of the reservations. The location is not far from the top of the mountain, far away from Kandy Lake, and the lake cannot be seen from the rooftop observation deck. The facilities are okay, the service attitude is okay, and the food tastes great. Overall not recommended.

I like it very much. The hotel is built on a quiet mountain. The ecological environment is very good. I even saw a cute monkey! There is a small balcony in the room, the scenery is excellent, the breakfast is a buffet, and the taste is very good! I will stay here next time I come to Kandy.

The hotel is located in the center of Kandy, near the Kandy Lake. The English communication at the front desk is no problem. The rooms are in good condition. The facilities are newer. There is no toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers.

This is a cosy, charming & friendly place in the hill capital Kandy. Just a short drive from the city centre, it's nested on one side of Hanthana, overlooking the city. The rooms have lovely interior decoration with simple, but matching colours. I personally like the fact that the wardrobe is not in the same space as the bedroom, but tucked away to a side. But the most eye catching thing of the place is most certainly the stunning view from the balcony. Be it day or night, it's simply picteresque & breathtaking. The hotel also has a lovely terrace all the way at the top (which is also where the bar is) where you can relax with a drink or snacks. A special mention to the manager of the establishment Mr. Fuard, who helped us customise our stay as per our wishes & was extremely accommodating from the point we arrived. Not forgetting the friendly staff & the kitchen, which produced some tasty meals throughout our stay. I recommend you go sooner rather than later, before the place gets popular & starts getting booked. I'm already looking forward to my next visit :)
