We stayed at this hotel for almost weekend it was amazing.Nice hotel with a nice central location near tooth temple and an easy walk to the Kandy city centre.clean and comfortable room.bright bathroom with hot water.the staff's at the hotel were polite and friendly(yasok,manoth,wimal).will definitely stay there again next time

I rarely write reviews about hotels and almost never stop at one hotel again. But Majestic is the place where we stayed four times, and I write a third review about it. Thousands of guests change between our trips in the hotel, but every time the hosts know us, they are sincerely pleased, trying to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. There you really feel like a welcome guest at good friends. Located on foot from the lake. For a low price you get a spacious room with high ceilings, comfortable, clean, comfortable mattresses and pillows, clean lingerie, delicious breakfast. I recommend.

Staff were wonderful, so helpful and took time to help me plan a full day as I only had one day in Kandy. They also gave me suggestions for my trip after Kandy also. The gym was fantastic to have and the pool. Kettle and fridge in the rooms. Located very near to the city Centre of Kandy. Really worth the reasonable price! Really personal touch…much appreciated! Would totally recommend!

In terms of price/performance ratio, it is great value! highly recommended! The boss is a young man, he is enthusiastic, and his English is very good. My English is very poor. The boss also taught me to use WeChat translator to communicate! I booked it for two days, because I didn't understand a lot when I first arrived in Sri Lanka, so I always troubled the boss on WeChat at any time. The boss also helped me see through the calling card traffic scam. It is really good that the boss is patient! Fortunately, I have chosen his home many times. In the morning, I also asked you the choice of breakfast food for the next day, very carefully. The environment is at the level of a domestic roadside hotel, but the service is at the level of a five-star hotel. There is air-conditioning, a fan, the bath water is hot enough, and the toilet, bath, and face are separated! When I left, I called us a tutu car, the price was so cheap!

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the train station and bus station, and a five-minute walk to Kandy Lake and the Temple of Tooth Relic. It is also because there will be some locals staying in this way. It is recommended not to book a bed. Unfortunately, I ran into an unfriendly local. Fortunately, the staff were more reliable. Call the staff after they all fell asleep at 10 o'clock in the evening. Immediately came out and helped me solve the problem. All in all a good hotel

Good hotel with friendly staff. It’s located in the city with walking distance to restaurants, Foodcity, KCC and Dhalada Maligawa. Rooms annd bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Just as shown in the pictures. As it’s situated in a busy street no big view, but it’s convenient and Perfect for a train trips with friends as we can walk around kandy, no need to hire a vehicle.

The location is lovely. Especially the mountain view. It didn't feel like we are in the middle of the busy city of Kandy. Rooms were very comfortable. The staff were really friendly. They will organize tours for reasonable prices as well. All in all I highly recommend this place.

I have got a really bad experience with booking a preferred Agoda Hotel which I prepaid. When I arrived at the hotel the owner told me he did not see anything and he never gets paid from Agoda. So he told me I could get a room but I had to pay again and even twice as much as the Agoda rate. I refused, he then offered me a ‘free room' in a different cheap Guesthouse which was also his, but I had to write a letter to Agoda I got a room. The owner was very intimidating and hostile. I found myself another hotel. When I reported this at Agoda they told me I won't get money back because I annulated. I did not annulate, the owner scammed me. I found a lot of reviews on Google from people who experienced the same. The hotel is scamming tourist for years, I reported this to Agoda and asked why they still have this hotel on there site and even as preferred supplier. I then get an offer for a refund of 50%. I refused, they then offered arround 75% in Agoda cash as a gift. I accepted a gift but still wanted a full refund, now they are still investigate it but I now got an email they do not refund anything. So it starts all over again. It even looked like they played the game together with the hotel owner. Shame on you Agoda, can not imagine Booking Holdings is behind this. Got the gift in Agoda cash after asking a couple of times. Found out what preferred supplier means with Agoda Hotels. You can get preferred supplier if you pay, the hotel then gets more publicity on Agoda. But it has nothing to do with good quality or so. I think if you pay enough Agoda won’t place bad reviews. Because all reviews over here and on Google are really bad and the one on Agoda and Booking.com are good. Strange isn’t it? This way Agoda and Booking facilitate this.
