We loved our stay at the cinnamon citadel. The hotel and the amazing pool were perfect for relax time after sightseeing the area. The view was amazing and calm. The service was impeccable, we enjoyed dinner and music every evening and finally stayed longer than planned.

We had a nice stay. The facilities are not new but very clean and well maintained. It's a bit far out, so you'll need to take a ride anywhere.

Pros: -Great location, beautiful view of the river -Wonderful dinner buffet Cons: -Check in took close to an hour as they couldn’t find my booking. Had to reach out to trip.com for help. That said trip customer service is excellent -Rooms are quite old and had a musky smell

It's not bad. It's worth the price. I've stayed there once. The room is beautiful, the staff is convenient and efficient, and there's a lot of food for dinner. It takes ten minutes to walk to the lake.

The room was clean and comfortable. Sitting in the lobby and around the swimming pool is very comfortable, you can be in a daze all day long! The surrounding environment is very good. There is a lake next to the hotel and a small hill opposite. Wake up in the morning and listen to the birds singing, by the way, there are many crows here😄

We stayed for 2 nights as part of an extended tour of Sri Lanka. Staff clearly committed to service excellence in a facility that appeared to be under utilised.

We have stayed 2 days in Cinnamon CITADEL Hotel. Great place. Great service. Food was delicious. Sandun Fernando is very friendly to us. Rooms are well organized. Clean, calm and quiet. I recommend this place to everyone visiting. Thanks 👍

I spent a night with my family at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy, and the experience was exceptional. The laid-back, calm, and relaxing atmosphere was just what we needed. A special mention goes to Cristina and Vinuki, who were very nice and accommodating. The F&B staff were also remarkable. We arrived for lunch on the 30th, later than the usual operating hours, yet the staff member serving our table was more than polite. Even as we continued eating past 2:30 PM, he served us in the friendliest way possible. His pleasant attitude made our visit memorable, and I hope he gets recognized for his excellent service. Additionally, the front office staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially when we had a last-minute request for transport. They arranged everything seamlessly, ensuring our travel plans were hassle-free. The Panorama staff were also great and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Thank you, Cristina, and all the staff, for making our stay so pleasant. The dedication and friendliness of the staff at Cinnamon Citadel Kandy truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service, serene environment, and the exceptional hospitality of its staff. We look forward to visiting again.

Excellent service by Mr. Damitha arranging a family event we had at Citadel. There was a lot of last minute changes and they went above and beyond to help us. Great food and beautiful location. Highly recommended for special events. Would definitely go back for a stay.

The dinner was great… had a great night with my family…. The dinner was great and there were so many varieties which made it even hard for us to decide on what to eat. The buffet was worth the price and would be hight recommended. Will be coming here soon!
