We stayed at the Topaz Hotel for a few days while touring around Kandy, and it was an incredible experience! The check-in process was smooth, and we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Even though the hotel wasn’t busy, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite – the views were absolutely breathtaking! The food selection was varied, and the quality was good, offering something for every taste. Although our stay was short, it was very enjoyable. I would highly recommend the Topaz Hotel to anyone visiting Kandy. It’s the perfect base for exploring the city with a touch of luxury. 5/5!

We arrived late, it was our first night in Sri Lanka and had no idea what to expect from where we were staying. What a fantastic greeting we were given by the staff at Topaz, they made us feel very special and comfortable, a really lovely welcome to such a beautiful country. We found the food plentiful, lots of choice at the buffet and was great that they served till late. Our room was large, clean and very pretty. We felt very safe. The views and stunning and so is the swimming pool! Special thanks to Rukmalin who served us wonderfully at the restaurant. He was so kind to our four children. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Topaz!

One of the best city I have visited in Sri Lanka. Amazing hospitality from the hotel staff, Specially the room boys. Cultural show was unforgettable. I recommend people to visit whenever you go to Kandy. Interesting tuk tuk ride to the town. Hotel was located in a nice place. Thanks to all. Hope to see you again.

Very strange stay. Hotel location and amenities are good, property looking a bit dated but still clean and tidy. Room pretty well appointed. The vibe from the staff was…odd. We were at the mid of our tour and it’s the only hotel where virtually every staff member acted passive, indifferent. Many seemed annoyed when asked for the simplest service. This was only place in this lovely country where we felt this way, so didn’t seem to be a cultural thing. Special thanks to Michel & the team. Special thanks to Mishel & the team.

We had a 1 night stay here as part of a longer tour of Sri Lanka - the service here was impeccable from everyone - reception, luggage, restaurant staff. We had a great time and our bedroom had a great view - as did the terrace where we were able to enjoy some drinks.

We chose Hotel Topaz Kandy to celebrate our second wedding anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff gave us a warm welcome, making us feel right at home. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the food was delicious. A special thank you to Mr. Malinda in the canteen, who provided excellent service. His attention and dignified hospitality made our stay even more special. Our family members also joined us for breakfast and were impressed with the overall experience. Employees like Malinda are precious assets to Hotel Topaz Kandy, and we are grateful for the care and attention we received. We highly recommend this hotel for its wonderful staff, clean accommodations, and great food!

Beautiful hotel with really friendly staff! The view from the hotel room and from the rooftop terrace was amazing, the rooms were very big and clean. The food was excellent. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

Very inefficient front desk staff, request for iron box and many hours waited but was not sent. Wild boar at hotel area almost cause harm to my family. The lobby area too noisy by customer but the hotel staff could not reprimand them. Unfriendly dinning area staff who very rude taking our plates while we are having buffet dinner. Nice facilities and environment but the whole team doesn't have heart too perform.

No i cant recommend this hotel. so armatures departments and no any value for money pls there are many hotels in kandy book them but not this. very far from the city. u can't even hire a vehicle but you can get from the hotel they are too expensive. i used to talk to a worker he was crying about his salary. it was about 20$ per month
