We stayed at this amazing, authentic hotel, recreating the atmosphere of 19th century era of Sri Lankan nobility . The dark wood beams and floors along with verandas and courtyards, bedrooms with in period fittings and ornate grounds make this a wonderful sanctuary after the excitement of a day in Kandy. The personal butler service and private dinners on our own veranda made us feel like honoured invited guests. Thanks to Damith for the attentive and personal service.

As a solo female traveler, I felt extremely safe and taken care of. Food was exceptional and so was the service. The manor is a colonial heaven, feels like transporting in time. Just lovely. Special shout out to my amazing butler - Nimal, thank you!

This is more like a stately home and they are trying hard to bring it back to its former glory. It still feels a little faded but it may have been because we were the only guests. Our butler Pressana was very good and the chef was first class.

Better than your home, this historic villa comes with a staff of 20, with an incredible chef for tailored private dining, to satisfy the most discerning travelers... The most perfect little hotel Stylish and well designed colonial style bedrooms in an 18th c house Grounds and pool to die for The best service Delicious food and cocktails Despite a recent name and management change ( back to owners ) we absolutely loved this peaceful little oasis 15 mins Tuktuk from bustling kandy With our room came a charming and butler Prasanna who was on call at all times to take orders for meals and deliver them , arrange laundry , wash muddy shoes and arrange transport If we return to Sri Lanka we will definitely return

We stayed 2 nights at Adigar’s Manor and absolutely loved our experience. On arrival, we were welcomed with an incredible and extensive high tea in the beautiful garden – such a warm start to our stay. Our room was spectacular, with a stunning bathtub in the center, a separate living room, and even a connecting room with its own bathroom for the children. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool in the gorgeous surroundings, and the owner kindly took us on a walk to a nearby temple, which was very special. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly – at times we even felt we had someone entirely at our disposal. We truly enjoyed our two days here and would definitely love to return in the future.

Charming small hotel in colonial style. Tucked away from Kandy craziness but close enough to explore and visit. Unparalleled service from our butler who gave discrete and exemplary care throughout our stay. Amazing tea too!
