The Trees, Kandy was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The rooms are so comfortable and clean. We were welcomed by staff with tea and beautiful lotus flowers. The pool provides fantastic view of Kandy. It’s a shame that our stay coincided with the crowds for the sacred exposition of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, otherwise we would have enjoyed our stay more. There were a few times staff did forget our orders at breakfast and at the bar, but other than than, thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

It's much better than what is said online. It has AC! But the shower is really cold and there are many ants on the table.

The room was nice and standard. There was no hot water when I took a shower in the morning. The breakfast was simple and there were few choices. The overall service was good. The room was a bit noisy if it was close to the road. The view from the lobby was OK.

Facilities: The facilities are very new and should be relatively good in this area. There is an infinity pool on the top floor, and the view of the town is great.

The hotel facilities are very new and the hotel environment is also very good, but the hot water experience is too bad. The hot water was gone after a few minutes of showering. I waited for five or six minutes and then it took another minute or two for the hot water to run out. I think it has something to do with their hot water supply system. This experience is really too bad

The hotel is relatively new, the scenery is nice, and the rooftop infinity pool is a standout. But it can't guarantee 24-hour hot water. If you use it a little more, you have to wait 45 minutes for the water to boil...

This would be one of the best hotels in the world by far if they increased the quality of the food. But please don’t let this put you off, the room and hotel and roof top bar are all 6 star! You don’t go there for the food as everything is truly outstanding. The room quality, service, staff, infinity pool, views etc. really wow! Monkeys also awesome. Stay here please as it’s awesome, amazing location and quick walk to town and outstanding food. Still a 5! Recommend. Enjoy!
