The positive reviews are real! We're very glad to have stayed here and would recommend this hotel without hesitation. First off, the buffett breakfast is amazing: it offers local Kanazawan fare to standard Japanese favourites like tempura, sushi and sashimi to ubiquitous American breakfast offerings like sausages, bacon and a wide choice of eggs. Fancy sparkling wine for breakfast? They're available as well! Secondly, great location. 3 mins walk to Omichi market, 10 mins to Kanazawa castle, 10 mins to Higashi Chaya, 20 mins to Nagamachi District. Honestly, Kanazawa is such a walkable town, you are always able to walk from one attraction to the next. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus from mid-morning to late afternoon that runs to Kanazawa station and back. Rooms are well-appointed, large by Japanese standards and there's even a bathtub. Two thumbs up!

Conveniently located across Kanazawa station, the hotel is easily accessible. Glad to see the mountain view from my hotel room. The breakfast spread is fantastic! As my stay was during the colder month of December, consistent hot water at the turn of the tap without any wait is really good! My only complain is that the central aircon system is not pushing out enough air, even at highest speed, making the night feel stuffy.

Hyatt Centric Kanazawa located next to Kanazawa Train station. Very suitable and convenient for tourists especially those who travel from Tokyo and Osaka by Sinkabsen. Beside Hyatt Centric there are various shopping malls such as Cross Gate and Rinto. There are many eateries in the malls and nearby convenient stores such as 7 Eleven and Lawson make the hotel very convenient. Not far way from the hotel (about 2-3Km), there is a Fish Market, Omicho Market. Fresh seafoods are available, nice with reasonable price. The hotel has very soothing environment which blends well with natural wood color. Overall is a very good stay.

Very good hotel, with good hardware and software facilities. It is within walking distance of the main attractions in Kanazawa. The transportation is very convenient, and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. The most amazing thing is the breakfast, which has a rich variety. Each dish is placed in a small bowl, which feels a bit like Kaiseki cuisine. The front desk service attitude is very good, and many things can be negotiated. All five-star praise.

This is a well-located and very clean hotel. We had little interaction with the staff but we had no need to. There is coffee in the lobby for guests and you can borrow an umbrella if needed. It was a short walk to Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Gardens, Omicho Fish Market and the Samurai district from this hotel. The tea district is also walkable but a little further. I would stay here again.

The hotel that we stayed in was SUPERB!! Its very ideal for us having kids as the hotel is situated few minutes walk from the station plus the underpass that protects us from cold since we are not used to a very cold/snowy winter plus closed to restaurants and convenient stores. The staff were all friendly, polite and respectful. They’re all lovely and helpful! We had a spacious and tidy room as well making as feel comfortable and gave us a complete relaxation after a whole day activity. Facilities: A very typical youth hostel. The single pod is very comfortable. There is also a large bathhouse where you can take a bath. It is very comfortable to take a bath after a day of walking. Hygiene: Hygiene is very clean. Youth hostels in Japan are very clean! Environment: Very good. There are simple facilities in the public area and you can heat up food. The location is far from Kanazawa Station and requires a bus, but it is very close to the attractions and on a very busy street!
