Very good place to stay!
Beautiful and comfortable rooms.
The hotel is very comfortable and it doesn't create any problems.
Our only criticism is breakfast, perhaps they could make it a little more.
A clean and comfortable hotel, except that the hotel is inconspicuous, it is perfect. The hotel is 15 minutes from the JR station, so it is very convenient to push luggage. Opposite the hotel is the Omi Town Market, which offers a wide range of food and shopping. It is also not far from Kanazawa Castle and other attractions on foot. The location is definitely a quiet yet prosperous place, so you can enjoy the tranquility of Kanazawa while being convenient. The interior of the hotel is very stylish. You can soak in the hot springs to relieve the fatigue of the day. The breakfast is very rich and the room space is sufficient. I will definitely stay here again next time I go to Kanazawa.
The hotel is located just beside Kanazawa JR station. We book 2ppl room x2 with breakfast. The price is very good value for stay. Even though the room is a little small but everything are well equip. The room is clean, comfortable, the toilet is clean and equipped with necessary items. Indeed we are very happy staying in this hotel as their service is very good. Smaller room is not an issue as it is understandable in Japan. Still we have a nice + comfort sleep. The most important factor is that this hotel is located just beside the JR station, which is EXTREME CONVENIENT to go any tourist sports in Kanazawa by bus/train. Strongly recommended this hotel for those who come with senior/kids.
Hotel front desk personnel is polite and helpful. Thumbs up!
Take note that air condition during our traveling period (early March 2024) is controlled by main hotel, only keep warm (as heater) as outside is very cold. You cannot adjust it during this period. We just open the window if the room is too hot and keeping air circulated.
The breakfast is good. We preferred roasted pork as the main dish of the breakfast as we found this to be most delicious. Other side dishes of breakfast is buffet style with regular bread and Japanese food which is good as well.

This is the best hotel during our Japan travel this year. The hotel is conveniently located beside Kanazawa station (approximately 3mins walking). There is a Lawsons near the station. Everything was top notched, and staff were polite too. The room was very spacious and there's a bathtub too. Overall, we had a very great time staying here. 👍👍
Conveniently located across Kanazawa station, the hotel is easily accessible. Glad to see the mountain view from my hotel room. The breakfast spread is fantastic! As my stay was during the colder month of December, consistent hot water at the turn of the tap without any wait is really good!
My only complain is that the central aircon system is not pushing out enough air, even at highest speed, making the night feel stuffy.
Very good hotel, with good hardware and software facilities. It is within walking distance of the main attractions in Kanazawa. The transportation is very convenient, and there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. The most amazing thing is the breakfast, which has a rich variety. Each dish is placed in a small bowl, which feels a bit like Kaiseki cuisine. The front desk service attitude is very good, and many things can be negotiated. All five-star praise.
Because of the temporary reservation, I chose this hotel that does not increase the price. The store is old and cost-effective. The price will not increase on Sunday. Health is good. Just next to Xianglinyuan, shopping is very convenient.
But staying in the old age will be more dim and not easy to fall asleep, not as bright as the new hotel.
Hotel management pays great attention to efficiency, so check-in time is one hour later than other hotels and check-out time is one hour earlier.
It's a little far from the station, but the amenities include DHC cleansing oil and lotion, which was really helpful! The hot water boiler was a little old and hard to use, but other than that it was comfortable for women. The pajamas were also nice!
Although it is relatively old, the sanitation is very general, and there are luggage left by the previous tenants, but there are izakayas everywhere here. You are not afraid of getting hungry, and it is easy to find the location, convenient, and the view from upstairs is also good.
The Ryokan Karasawa provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Ryokan Karasawa is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Kanazawa. The hotel is only 3km from Kamimoroe Station and 31km from Komatsu Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. This hotel is located near many of Kanazawa's attractions including Baipasurejarandofujiehonkan, Sister City Park and Toitahigashi Park. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Kanazawa hotel provides parking on site.

HHah MarvinThe positive reviews are real! We're very glad to have stayed here and would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
First off, the buffett breakfast is amazing: it offers local Kanazawan fare to standard Japanese favourites like tempura, sushi and sashimi to ubiquitous American breakfast offerings like sausages, bacon and a wide choice of eggs. Fancy sparkling wine for breakfast? They're available as well!
Secondly, great location. 3 mins walk to Omichi market, 10 mins to Kanazawa castle, 10 mins to Higashi Chaya, 20 mins to Nagamachi District. Honestly, Kanazawa is such a walkable town, you are always able to walk from one attraction to the next. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus from mid-morning to late afternoon that runs to Kanazawa station and back.
Rooms are well-appointed, large by Japanese standards and there's even a bathtub. Two thumbs up!
IImeVery convenient if traveling by train. Just in front of Kanazawa station.
The room is really nice and clean.
Free drinks (including sake) is a big plus point
WWakuwaku YenConvenient location (around 1km, or 15 minutes walking distance from Kanazawa station), excellent hospitality and services, and got complimentary breakfast too. Totally superb experience, highly value for money, and would stay again in future!!
GGuest UserThe location is very continent if you are going to use trains a lot while staying in Kanazawa. The hotel is not so close to the main attractions of the city, but if you're ok about walking for a while you can there without buses. It was our case we were sating 4 nights in Kanazawa and took and took 1-day trips to other towns, so for us the location was very convenient. There are several restraints near the hotel. We fell in love with the one in shopping mall that serve unlimited shabu-shabu. The sushi restraints there also great if you are ok with waiting for a table.
Despite being located near the train-roads the room is very quiet! It is comfortable, modern and not so tiny as some rooms in Japanese hotels are. Bed and bathroom are comfortable. Also there is a large desk so you can feel comfortable if you need to work. Near the front desk you can get bathroom amenities and even scented bath bombs)
Welcome-drink is also a nice touch.
We had only one problem - we could not check-in using the machine. Don't know why it couldn't our booking. But the stuff was there to help and solved it quickly.
So we had great time here and I'll definitely stay in this hotel once again if we return to Kanazawa.
MMamaJBooked two rooms. It has a Japanese-style room feel
Children have to pay an additional 3,000 yen to stay, which is very suitable for plus
There are relatively few bathrooms, but the water temperature is very good
The hotel has hot springs, open-air hot springs, saunas.
There is free ice cream to eat in the hot spring
Breakfast is very rich, children like salmon caviar, you can add unlimited 😂 There is instant fried tempura, but also the coffee machine has matcha latte.
The hotel has access to lift parking voxy seven-seater can enter
You can walk to Kanazawa Omicho Market, very close.
AAlan Koh CYHotel Torifito offers an excellent stay with a fantastic location near the station, making it highly convenient for travellers. The amenities are great, including a dedicated room with microwave, ice buckets, and vending machines, making it easy to prepare your own meals/heat up konbini food.
The breakfast is a standout feature, boasting a wide variety of options that include delicious, seasonal Kanazawa specialties. While the room isn’t particularly large, it is comfortable, with a cozy bed that ensures a good night's sleep.
Overall, it’s a well-rounded choice for comfort, convenience, and great food. I highly recommend it!
GGuest UserEasy to walk to train station which is a short walking distance away. In the evening it's nice to have hot soba ( complimentary ) after a dip in the hot pool ( usage foc ). Ice cream and coffee from vending machine also foc. Quite satisfied with the 2 night stay.
GGuest UserThe staff are very friendly and helpful. The property location wise from the station is in a great position. Noise wise, not so good! We were room 702, it was very noisy with the trains going by constantly. The room is also very hot, with the heating automatically controlled by the hotel. Breakfast is a set menu and very expensive for what it is, we paid for 3 days of breakfast up front, but after the first day decided not to have it again. Only 2 machines in the entire hotel for laundry.
MMagnus TanThe dorm was quite tricky to find on the sidewalk, walking from JR Kanazawa station, the sign was on a wall behind me, in the walkway leading into the building it was. One should look out to the left once you’ve reached the building.
There were no staff when I checked in late at night around 10pm, but I received an email beforehand detailing the guest forms I should fill up and some other information. Once I arrived, there were other clear instructions about my bunk, luggage storage and house rules. The entry area had several books and leaflets about the area and a map indicating eateries and sightseeing locations recommended by staff, a useful touch. Some of it were in English too.
The bunk was perfectly acceptable for a quick night sleep. The bed was wide and had lockable lockers to the side. Refreshments like drinks, snacks and noodles were also available for a small fee and payment was done via a tin box. Overall, very good value for money and it provided an opportunity to chat with other travellers staying by there. I chatted with someone from Taiwan and a local working at Kanazawa station’s tourist information centre. He was snowed in for the night and it’s worth noting that, it would be a struggle to haul luggage through heavy snow on the way to the property.
MMaliThe inside of the building was very clean and comfortable. The large public bath was also spacious and comfortable. However, there were only three washing machines in the laundry area, and they were always in use, so I couldn't do my laundry. I finally managed to do my laundry at 3am, so that was my only complaint.
