I absolutely loved Stella! It was my first time in Kanazawa and I definitely made the right choice. Shuji-san was so helpful and lovely. I rented his nice bike and cruised around the whole city and all the way to the beach (he gave me a great map filled with local spots to check out) and he recommended a great jazz bar which I ended up seeing an amazing performance and he sent me over to a weird neon-ceiling'd onsen, which i loved. Perfect location, a room all to myself (after sleeping at hostels, it's a dream to have some solo space) and just steps away from Higashi Chiya. Definitely will stay again if when I return. Thanks Shuji!

We spent 2 weeks in Japan. Mr. Shuji’s Stella Inn is the best guest house we stopped at. A very warm welcome, a real interest in guiding and helping people discover Kanazawa. We were treated to a scrupulously detailed menu and very good culinary and cultural advice. Kindness to the point of guiding us to the bus stop for our departure. I recommend 100%! Arigato 😄
