Essentially a perfect hotel. Attentive, prompt service by all staff. For example Michael at the front desk is a total star. The rooms are big, impeccably clean, fully equipped, and more soundproofed than the average hotel. The gym is expansive and professionally equipped. Great pool. Tons of free parking. I expected more from Glö than I received. I chose Glö as a ”treat” for a couple's getaway, as it was a newer hotel and appeared like it would be snazzier than the usual fare. Pros: The bathroom was very nice, and the complimentary toiletries are top notch. The rooms are very clean. The mattress was very comfortable and the TV was a decent size. Cons: The rooms are incredibly small, and while they are nicely furnished, the tiny ”couch” seat was more form than function (i.e. prettier than it was comfortable). The front desk staff seemed very new and clueless on basic hospitality essentials, like how to work the in-room television. It also took ages for a response from front desk on how to work the TV and the issue wasn't even resolved. I probably will not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone I know, as there are so many hotels to choose from in Kanata that offer better, more knowledgeable service and better pricing.

I loved this hotel! A little off the beaten path, but worth it due to good pricing and proximity to Tanger Outlets and the highway. I've visited twice now and will be sure to book again when needed. Pros: Rooms are a very decent size, and the hotel just opened recently as of this review, so everything is gleaming clean and new. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are lovely. Cons: The TV could be a little larger, and I'm sad that despite marketing materials to the contrary, we weren't able to connect the TV through my YouTube account as I have been able to do at other hotels, but it was a small disappointment compared to the pros. My largest concern is how quickly the right-hand elevator door closes without warning; it bashed me a good one as I was walking in , and while I can take it.and brush that off, had that been a small child they could have been seriously hurt. Please get that checked out. In summary, I will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean, quiet, recently priced place to stay while visiting Kanata 😁

Very satisfied with the facilities and services of the hotel. In the morning, you can make homemade waffles. It is the best choice for self-driving friends. There are also free ice machines, coffee, refrigerators and microwaves. Refrigerated in the refrigerator, very convenient, highly recommended!

When I arrived at my floor, the air conditioning in the hallway was running at full blast, making it feel like I had just walked into a refrigerator. When I got to my room, it was more of the same. The AC was set to 65 degrees, and so it took more than one hour for the room to get to a comfortable temperature. The room itself was large, spacious and comfortable, although the bathroom had an abnormally low counter height. While the water pressure was good in the shower, it was quite skimpy in the basin. In addition, while I appreciated the presence of a blackout curtain in the room, this is the first hotel that I’ve ever stayed at where the blackout curtain was so long that it fully covered the heating unit when the curtains were drawn. This seems like a design flaw to me and a potential fire hazard. So, I never closed these curtains. I found the TV options to be very poor. There were only 40 channels and nothing that interested me. The breakfast room was much too small to accommodate the number of people staying here. I would say that half the people could not get tables. I had to eat breakfast in my room. The other drawback to mention is that there is only one elevator for this 4-storey hotel, and so wait times were long during peak hours. On the plus side, the staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was close to a large number of restaurants and stores.
