Pantower International Hotel is one of the best hotel in the Kaiping area of the Guangdong province. Every room in this hotel has a beautiful view of the Tanjiang River. The restaurant on the second floor of the hotel serves good, inexpensive gourmet dishes, especially sea foods which are supplied by the local aquaculture and daily Dim Sum. There is a private car rental service with a driver to take you around the area with a very reasonable price. A lot of guests like to use the Chinese DiDi services to get around the area cause the hotel is not centrally located. My husband and I always stay at the PanTower Hotel every time we visit our home village and the TaiShen area. This time , May 2023 the hotel has a lot of update and improvements. One suggestion is to book a room at a higher floor to avoid SMOKING SMELL from other guests.

We loved our stay in the heart of an old village that is just opening up to tourism. The rooms were big and comfortable with nice hot showers and the service was kind and helpful. It is easy to rent bikes and go explore the countryside as well as the UNESCO sites that are not to be missed (Li Garden and Zili Village are close by). There are a few restaurants in the village and you can even find western coffee . We will surely come again!

The hot and cold water in the shower is particularly unstable. The basic water temperature can either burn the skin or freeze you. It is difficult to adjust to a relatively comfortable temperature. This is a fabulous place to stay to explore the Dialou and surrounding countryside. The family room was great . The staff are really friendly and helpful the bikes are excellent and the food at the restaurant (we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner ) is very tasty and delicious. We will definitely return as we had such a great stay and there is so much to explore in the area. The honey and fruit we bought from the hostel when leaving was amazing. Thank You to Rocky and all the staff at TK Hostel for providing visitors with such a fabulous place to stay.

Overall clean, no service but polite at the front desk. The hotel has a beautiful environment and the children like it very much. There is a stone path in the corridor on the second floor, which is not convenient for carrying luggage. The soundproofing of the room is relatively poor. The shower room is walk-in directly from the room, and luckily it has heating. The shower was draining, water ran out through the crack in the door, and the floor mat was completely soaked. The toilet seat is warm and not cold in winter, but not every room has a smart toilet. Parking spaces at the main entrance are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. There is an open space for parking behind the hotel, and there is a paid parking lot nearby. There are restaurants and cafes near the hotel, including claypot rice, rice rolls, etc… There are two destinations within a 20-minute walk, Zili Village and Liyuan.
