At night, sit on the small balcony outside and smoke (consciously take care of the room) and watch the clouds flow in the sky. After the clouds have cleared, you can see the sky full of stars. There was a croak of frogs in my ears, just like when I was a child in the country. In the morning, there was a sudden heavy rain. After the rain, it was fine, and two rainbows appeared on the horizon. A perfect homestay, a beautiful encounter. (These were all taken on the small balcony and roof of the hotel.)

We loved our stay in the heart of an old village that is just opening up to tourism. The rooms were big and comfortable with nice hot showers and the service was kind and helpful. It is easy to rent bikes and go explore the countryside as well as the UNESCO sites that are not to be missed (Li Garden and Zili Village are close by). There are a few restaurants in the village and you can even find western coffee . We will surely come again!

I would recommend this homestay to all friends who want to come to Kaiping This homestay is actually a large space of 3 in 1, with a beautiful building [Yilou], a main homestay with INS style (including bars, cafes 2 in 1) and a restaurant [Poyutang]. Yuanlou is the former Qianzhuang, and the predecessor of the hotel is the township government office building. So this homestay is also a comprehensive travel attraction in Tangkou Town itself. After dinner in the evening, it is also excellent to have a drink and read a book in the cafe on the 1st floor. Not to mention that the boss has a very cute dog named Mitsubishi, and will interact happily with us when we have breakfast. The free breakfast was great too, ham sausage + egg + laurel + latte, and it was great to start the day in a beautiful cafe. Service: I saw the comment area before that the service may be cold, and we were cautious about whether to book this homestay. But in fact, we feel very lucky. Whether it is the boss wife who meets the boss or the younger brothers and sisters at the front desk, the service attitude is very good, especially the boss is very enthusiastic to take pictures with my children and puppies. We are driving by car, so it takes less than 10 minutes to drive to [Zili Village] and [Chikan Ancient Town]. Compared to living in [Chikan Ancient Town] The scenic area is a bit too artificial, and the price is better here. This is a fabulous place to stay to explore the Dialou and surrounding countryside. The family room was great . The staff are really friendly and helpful the bikes are excellent and the food at the restaurant (we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner ) is very tasty and delicious. We will definitely return as we had such a great stay and there is so much to explore in the area. The honey and fruit we bought from the hostel when leaving was amazing. Thank You to Rocky and all the staff at TK Hostel for providing visitors with such a fabulous place to stay.

Overall clean, no service but polite at the front desk. The hotel has a beautiful environment and the children like it very much. There is a stone path in the corridor on the second floor, which is not convenient for carrying luggage. The soundproofing of the room is relatively poor. The shower room is walk-in directly from the room, and luckily it has heating. The shower was draining, water ran out through the crack in the door, and the floor mat was completely soaked. The toilet seat is warm and not cold in winter, but not every room has a smart toilet. Parking spaces at the main entrance are limited and are on a first-come, first-served basis. There is an open space for parking behind the hotel, and there is a paid parking lot nearby. There are restaurants and cafes near the hotel, including claypot rice, rice rolls, etc… There are two destinations within a 20-minute walk, Zili Village and Liyuan.

In the center of Kaiping city, you can take bus No. 602 from Kaiping South Station to the downstairs; then walk for about 10 minutes to the bus station, and the route covers the four watchtower scenic spots and surrounding ancient towns. There is a security guard and reception desk in the lobby, and you can take a card at the door, but it shares the elevator with diners in the revolving restaurant. It is highly recommended to go to the revolving restaurant for morning tea at your own expense in the morning, with ample snacks and a view of the river. The value for money is very high. In addition, there are 24-hour American fast food restaurants and convenience stores within a 5-minute walk. There are more choices of local restaurants, some of which are open until 22:00.
