Clean hotel, wonderful environment in historical town. We had a great time here using Meitang hotel as a base to explore villages in Toishan area. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Chikan will open more areas by Chinese New Year 2025 - hope to be back again!

Excellent place for overnight stay. Or even for 2 nights as we did. The atmosphere of the Chikan city, especially during quiet evenings, is magical. The restaurant is serving tasty food, not the cheapest but highly recommended. Swimming pool is a real bonus!

If you are visiting Chikan Scenic Area, I still recommend staying there. The breakfast is also good. Overall, it can be compared with some international chain hotels. But one thing I want to complain about is that I feel that there is still no strict distinction between guests and general tourists in the parking lot. In fact, it is not necessary to treat guests more preferentially than tourists. But there are really too many tourists on weekends, and there is no distinction between parking lots. We almost couldn't find a parking space. I hope it will be improved in the future.
