"Manxin Hotel Kaifeng: Thoughtful Details and a Superb Location During my trip to Kaifeng, I chose to stay at Manxin Hotel, and the overall experience was incredibly pleasant, with several aspects particularly standing out. First off, the hotel lobby. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by its spacious and bright ambiance. The decor was luxurious yet tasteful, exuding an impressive sense of grandeur that instantly elevated my expectations for the stay. What was even more heartwarming were the front desk staff. They were enthusiastic and proactive throughout, not only meticulously handling the check-in process but also patiently guiding us through the hotel layout and thoughtfully recommending nearby attractions worth visiting. Their service attitude was absolutely top-notch. After checking into our room, we found the facilities to be very new. The soundproofing was excellent, making our stay exceptionally quiet and peaceful. We weren't disturbed by any outside noise, allowing us to rest very soundly. We did encounter a minor issue: we found the hot water tap wasn't working. After contacting staff, someone quickly came to check. It turned out we weren't familiar with how to operate the tap, and we ended up causing trouble for the staff. However, throughout the whole process, the staff member remained gentle-mannered and patiently showed us how to use it, without showing the slightest hint of impatience. This kind of meticulous and thoughtful service truly earns extra points. What truly surprised us was the hotel's fantastic location. Right outside the hotel is Kaifeng's famous Shudian Street Night Market, just a short walk away in the evening. All sorts of local specialty foods are readily available, allowing you to experience the authentic local vibe and flavors of Kaifeng without having to go out of your way. It's incredibly convenient for foodies! Overall, I was thoroughly satisfied with the service, accommodation, and location during this stay. I will definitely choose Manxin Hotel again on my next visit to Kaifeng, and I will also recommend it to friends planning a trip there."

"Good environment, good service, new facilities Environment: There is a fish pond downstairs. The koi in the fish pond are huge and fat. Very cute. The hotel has a new environment with abundant vegetation and good green natural landscape. Service: The service is very considerate. The front desk will help you deal with the problem when you contact the hotel in the middle of the night. In the early morning, the hotel also helped you find the quilt. "Overall evaluation: the kind of excellent that will actively recommend to friends Location: There is a chic small yard, quiet in the middle of noisy; there is a beautiful Longting Lake in front of the door; going out to the left 200 meters is delicious and cheap prosperity, and then 500 meters is the famous Qingming Shangheyuan Scenic Area Yingbin Gate; Going out to the right is the Yulou of the second uncle Gu, the pedestrian street, many restaurants, and the distance from the Drum Tower is also within walking distance. There is its own basement parking lot, which is small but available. The slope of entering and leaving the basement is very steep, testing vehicles and courage 😂 Rooms: Booked a large room suitable for two 10-year-old + baby, two 180 beds, two complete bathrooms separated from wet and dry, but there are three toilets! three! three! Two-child families must know the gold content here. An oversized sofa matches the oversized projection. The whole family watches the joy together. Don't be too cool! Other hardware: Laundry room, free all kinds of washing at any time, go out to play, you can also leave a note, Miss Sister will help stare at the washing and drying, pack and collect. Two treadmills, one elliptical machine, countless small dumbbells. You can also borrow yoga mats and bricks. Breakfast: There is no charge for under 17 years old, and the rooms include meals. In other words, no one checks the room card, and everyone can directly enter the door for self-help. Favorite: Soy milk DIY with red bean round condensed milk; soy slag cake DIY with various ingredients. See the picture, tofu brain DIY, Ponyo as cute, lamb chops, ribs... Services: Miss sister, brother, aunts, all warm and hospitable, check out also presented a souvenir. Too much praise, and finally say a few things that can be improved: 1. Breakfast if stir-fried dishes, especially meat dishes, add labels to indicate what meat will be more friendly. One of the shower glass door sealing strips is not sealed and leaking. 3. Auntie wanted to serve too much. At 8:10, she opened the door and entered the house twice to clean and was asked out. (Sleeping people said they were shocked but okay)"

"I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. I really enjoyed the hotel's overall style and the grand, comfortable decor. What truly stood out was the incredibly warm and professional front desk service; their attitude was genuinely excellent. They upgraded my room and even offered snacks upon check-in. Upon arrival in the room, I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh fruit and drinks, which was a lovely touch. The hotel dinner was also quite good, and it was delivered to my room by very friendly staff. However, I must also point out some areas for improvement: The room's interior decor details were somewhat lacking, with many rough finishes that didn't quite match the hotel's supposed standard (see photos). Housekeeping wasn't as thorough as it could be; I noticed hair and dust in corners that weren't properly cleaned (see photos). After checking into my room, I couldn't find any slippers despite searching everywhere, so I had to request some from room service. The disposable toiletries were of rather low quality; the slippers, in particular, shed fibers that stuck to my feet (see photos). While the hotel breakfast offered a wide variety, honestly, the taste was quite disappointing. For instance, out of eight seemingly different cold dishes, four contained cucumber, making them indistinguishable, and I couldn't even remember their names. Furthermore, many dishes contained garlic. For someone with a garlic allergy, it was incredibly difficult to find anything edible among the many options. My suggestion would be to use garlic only when essential, omit it when possible, and refine the dishes to cater to a broader range of dietary preferences. Finally, I must reiterate that the front desk staff were truly outstanding and incredibly responsive. They even offered a small gift upon my departure, thanking me for my feedback. In conclusion, this hotel is definitely worth revisiting, primarily due to its exceptional hospitality team. If they could address the decor details, housekeeping standards, and breakfast quality, it would be absolutely perfect. I look forward to being pleasantly surprised by improvements on my next visit! "I brought my baby to Kaifeng to check in with my friends and did my homework in advance on Trip.com . I chose this hotel with convenient transportation and clean and high ratings. I have lived in oranges elsewhere before, and the overall impression is good. The hotel facilities are also very complete, there is a free coffee machine in the lobby to make coffee, there is a laundry room and treadmill on the sixth floor, next time you come to Kaifeng, you will choose here."

"Big, beautiful room but there was no window and no garden view. I booked the family room since I was traveling with my nephew. However, there was no wall between the bedroom and the bathroom. The doors to the shower and bathroom were glass. The hotel staff were friendly. The location was not ideal and its very dark around the hotel."

"The luckiest thing about traveling to Kaifeng is that I chose this homestay! The location is simply amazing. It takes only 3 minutes to walk to the Qingming Riverside Park. In the morning, you can easily catch the first wave of admission to avoid the crowds. In the evening, after watching the performance of ”The Great Song Dynasty: Tokyo Dreams”, you can take a walk back to the room to rest. The room is clean and warm, the layout is full of Song Dynasty elements, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it is super safe to live in. The boss is warm and considerate, and also recommended super authentic food shops around. The cost-effectiveness is super high, I will stay here next time I come to Kaifeng!"

"Honestly, this hotel exceeded my expectations. First off, they offer a complimentary pick-up and drop-off service to/from the station, which was incredibly convenient. The hotel is relatively new, with a stylish and unique decor. The room itself was very spacious, and the bedding was comfortable enough. However, the air conditioning was quite noisy; even on sleep mode, it was still loud. The hotel's breakfast was excellent, offering freshly cooked noodles, rice vermicelli, and wontons. While the overall selection wasn't vast, all dishes were thoughtfully prepared, including some local specialties. It's officially served until 10 AM, but typically, even if you arrive a bit later, there's still plenty available. Service was also outstanding; the staff were very responsive and eager to help. Overall, it's a great hotel. Regarding the location, it's in the New District, not too far from Wanda Plaza. However, getting to Wansuishan and Qingming Shanghe Garden by a ride-hailing service (like Didi) costs around 20 RMB, and it's a similar distance/cost to Gulou Night Market. If distance isn't a major concern for you, then this hotel is definitely a fantastic choice."

"It is very close to the Shangheyuan welcoming gate, 300 meters walk. The boss upgraded us to a family room with a terrace. Outside the terrace is the Tongjin Gate, which is very beautiful at night. The location of the hotel is easy to find. I drove directly to the parking lot opposite the hotel according to the location the boss sent me. It was very close to cross the bridge to get the luggage. The butler service was very good. They helped me carry my luggage and took me to find the room."
