KKuailexixiaobaoThis is the first time for a family of four to travel. The last time I came to Kaifeng was when I was in love with my husband. This time, I chose this hotel after a few days, considering the distance to the attractions, transportation, and the comfort of the bedding. The hotel is clean and the children can play in the room with peace of mind. I have a bit high requirements for bedding. Uncomfortable bedding will not make you rest well. This hotel really surprised me. The comfort is super good. Our family is very satisfied.
Service:
When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk upgraded our room type for free. I wanted the room to be quieter and adjusted it to face the inside of the community. It was very considerate.
We went out to play until 11 o'clock in the evening the next day and returned to the hotel to drive back. The front desk staff opened the door for us at the exit of the parking lot. I was very touched. . .

AAmybailaoshiThe front desk lady was very nice. When checking in, she upgraded the room type and gave me souvenirs and a map of Kaifeng attractions. I was so happy that I extended my stay for another night and my request for a free breakfast was also met. The room was clean and tidy with welcome snacks. The slippers were disinfected and safe to use. Diagonally opposite was the old-fashioned pot stickers with prawns and pork and chives. The saltiness was moderate and the almond tea was just the right sweetness. Great!

IidoihappyThis is the first time I want to come to this city again because of the service of a hotel.
Let's talk about the service first: from the front desk to the room attendant, they are all friendly and polite. When I arrived at the hotel, a meeting was over and everyone checked out. I waited for a while. When I checked in, the service staff immediately apologized and upgraded the room for free. Arranged to send the luggage to the room. When I entered the room, I saw the welcome fruit, there was a unique sachet on the fruit plate, and a welcome card handwritten by the service staff. Yanming sachet is handmade, with a faint medicinal fragrance. I hung this sachet on my bag. When I am a little tired from traveling by car, I smell it, it is comfortable and refreshing. Such small details touched me again when I left the hotel. The front desk service staff handed me two bags of fruit and said that you were delayed when checking in. Give you supplies on the way. The check-in and check-out are not handled by the same service staff. Such attentiveness is really rare. Especially during the peak of May Day. Two days in Kaifeng, there are surprises when entering the room of Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious; the supper is a thick stew of white fungus and lotus seeds and peach gum. Careful words and thoughts should be cherished. I took a picture of this welcome card. Thank you Wang Zhen for your service. Thank you to all the staff who served on 4/29-30.
Let's talk about breakfast. Chinese and Western food are rich. There are many choices. The environment is good. It is next to Jinming Lake. In the morning, I ate in the sunshine and the rippling water, and my appetite was particularly good.
This time, I feel that I have a good vision. It's the first time I stayed in Kaiyuan Mingdu. It's because the travel time is tight. I was moved by the words of a blogger on Xiaohongshu. This hotel is a scenic spot. It's true. Although I slept very late the night before, I was full of energy at 6:30 the next day and walked around the hotel. Jinming Lake deserves the reputation of a royal garden, with picturesque scenery and fresh air. On the third day, I mobilized my family to get up early and take a walk. My family decided not to leave in a hurry in the morning and took a leisurely walk. Leave calmly.
A good hotel will make the trip full of happiness. Slow down the hurried pace and experience that travel is a mobile home. Strangers are not just passers-by, and meeting each other is fate. This is the first time I write about my stay experience for a hotel. I hope it can help friends who come to Kaifeng.
PS: This hotel has a swimming pool and a small zoo in the park (parrots 🦜 and rabbits).

BBuerhanghangThe hotel clearly represents a massive investment, rumored to have cost a billion (RMB), despite having just over two hundred rooms. Many aspects of its design are commendable. Its location within a wetland park offers a unique advantage, and it's also conveniently close to both the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and Wansui Mountain. It could arguably be considered the premier hotel in Kaifeng.
While the overall facilities are excellent, there's certainly room for improvement in some areas. For instance, the hotel offers bicycles for guests to ride around the grounds. However, when my mother was using one, the chain came off, causing a minor scrape on her arm, though thankfully nothing serious. What was concerning was that when we went to exchange the bike, the staff member's initial question was whether the chain came off because of a gear shift, rather than promptly asking if she was injured or needed any first aid. Moving forward, I hope the hotel implements regular inspections and maintenance for their bicycles, as otherwise, they present a potential safety hazard.
Secondly, our original room was quite noisy. Even with the air conditioning turned off, a prominent low-frequency hum made it very difficult to sleep. However, after reporting this to the front desk in the middle of the night, their response was incredibly swift. They promptly moved me to a much quieter room and also extended their apologies, which was excellent! Nevertheless, the next morning in the new room, we discovered there was no hot water. Given that we were checking out soon, we decided not to report it. Furthermore, a curtain in that room (2612) was partially detached. I sincerely hope the hotel will address and refine these minor details going forward.
Despite these minor imperfections, the overall experience was very positive. I sincerely hope the hotel continues to refine these details. Should I visit Kaifeng again, I would still consider choosing this hotel, and I eagerly anticipate seeing your improvements!

Sanitation: Not bad, the bathroom is very clean, there is no odor, I stayed for three nights, and the auntie cleaned it every day
Environment: The room size is very good, the hotel is in a large courtyard, quiet and easy to find, it is very close to Qingyuan Wansui Mountain, and it is also close to Shuyuan Street Night Market

GGuest UserExcellent! It's located right by the Drum Tower and very close to the food street. In the evenings, the area downstairs is bustling with food stalls. You can even watch the fireworks from Wansuishan Wuxia City right from your room. Renting shared e-bikes makes getting to all major attractions incredibly fast, with most rides taking only about ten minutes.

GGuest UserThe hotel is pretty nice! The landlady is a nice woman, we used weixin to communicate, there were no problems with it. The room itself is absolutely the same as it is at the photo. It was cold from the very beginning but the air conditioning worked properly and made the room very warm in 30 mins. The street where the hotel is located looks like a quiet Chinese suburbs, don’t afraid of nose, there is absolutely no noise there. It’s near the Henan University and Gulou street. We recommend this place!
