The hotel with the best views in all of Johannesburg. Great staff, super helpful and friendly. The rooms are pleasantly large and have a balcony. The roof terrace is a dream. Only to recommend. Better to have it brought by Uber/Taxi. Even the few meters walk from Park Station is not without worries.

Though the hotel was very nice and comfortable, but it is in an extremely noisy part of town, I hardly slept through the car and people’s noise from the street. The parking is also way too tight with a single entry & exit point, I don’t think they must allow big cars to park there, or rather alert the drivers of the sharp and tight corners before they drive in.

Holiday Inn rosebank hotel is located at the center of rosebank and there is a gautrain station just in front of the hotel entrance and also you can access to the rosebank mall directly from the hotel. The entire team on this hotel was super friendly always willing to welcome the guests with pleasure. Breakfast on the 2nd floor served by variety of food selection of which including a cheese plate and an egg station was just enough to boost energy to start up the day. The food served from the hotel restaurant was with a reasonable price so that I could enjoy delicious food without going out for dinner. I would definitely say that it's worth the money to stay in this place. Although I had a concern about the city Johannesburg before the trip but at least in this rosebank area which was totally safe to hang out and walk around the streets with no stress. I had such a great experience in Johannesburg and willing to come back in the future. Thank you once again to leave this beautiful country with good memories. It's was such a pleasure to stay here.

The system will print out a confirmation form to confirm the time and place the sign. The PPS driver is good. If you can't find it. There can be a lot improved. It wasn't all bad but many aspect require work. their customer service failed where there was no communication given that repairs will be done in my room. I returned at 16h00 to find my room looking like a construction site, only to find they were trying to replace the blinds, they could have communicated firstly, then I was subjected to having to change rooms as they had ordered the wrong part. I had plans at 16h30 and had to cancel a pre booked appointment needing to move my belongings between 2 floors, the hassle being I was already unpacked and had arranged my things properly. The 6yh floor I was moved too had a foul unbearable smell which just made one loose their appetite. The cleaning staff decided to clean at around 23h00 while we tried sleeping, which I couldn't understand, they were never around to assist and when requesting an iron, you'd wait over 30 min before it came. I won't even start on the point of them not having the option of smoking rooms for guests.

Everything about our stay was amazing, the location, the staff and the food and who can forget the Grown up milkshakes. Thank you Raymond. The hotel has a great location with a shopping precinct on it's doorstep, multiple cafés and restaurants within minutes. Also the Joburg hop on hop off bus, stops just outside the hotel. A very comfortable stay, I just wish we had longer. I would definitely recommend this hotel too friends and family. In fact I have. I hope too return soon but in the meantime I would like to thank all of the staff at the hotel for for a lovely stay and a fantastic birthday. Thank you especially too Londiwe, Les, Aaron, Ewart, Raymond and not forgetting Mr.T. thank you all again

This hotel is very beautiful, relatively old, decorated with old British style, with closets. But it is too old, there is a musty smell, there are universities nearby, belonging to the suburbs, there is no place to eat nearby, to take a taxi. The customer said that this area is dangerous and can't be strolled on the road, so we started to eat and stay at the hotel for the first 2 days.

Best fresh fruit at breakfast I have had in a long time! I was very well looked after by Sam, Janine, Patricia and Sally - they made me most comfortable. My room was spacious, well appointed and kept in immaculate condition by Patricia and Sally. I would strongly recommend Houghton Place to any visitor.

Amazing location since it's close to Rosebank mall which have lots of shops. They have really friendly workers thar are always there to assist you 24/7. The breakfast is great with high amount of options. The rooms are very nice and quiet. Highly recommended.

If there was a time that a person needs to just cut off from the madness of life, this would be the place to run to. The staff were beyond anything I have ever experienced before and their willingness to go the extra mile is amazing. Comfortable, accessible and so beautiful, one can only sit back and take in these meticulously manicured lawns and most opulent surroundings. It feels like a little piece of Tuscany in the heart of Midrand Bravo all. You will definitely be on my most loved places to visit again.

I can see that this was a great place to stay in its heyday but has declined over time. Positives are it’s location, friendly and accommodating staff (which one would expect in the hospitality industry) and a reasonable price. Negatives that I experienced were that the place was well worn, tired and in need of some investment. Examples are, worn carpets, hole in the dining room table cloth, frayed bath towels, basin not draining quickly due to matted hair in the strainer (fixed same day), broken suitcase rack (fixed same day), evidence of a dampness problem in the plaster on the wall near the window, extractor fan in the bathroom is dark brown with years of dust on the grill in the ceiling, no Barman on duty - was served by reception staff though. Apart from a buffet breakfast there are no meal facilities at all, not even for a light snack. I have to wonder whether this is actually a hotel or just a conference venue with accommodation. If it is indeed a hotel then this is definitely not the four star establishment despite having four stars next to their name on their website. Would I stay here again? Possibly, but only because it’s convenient & I know what to expect.

The check in process was very simple with super friendly staff. One guy stood out for me his name is ”Essential” he went out of his way to ensure that our stay was comfortable. The rooms were fairly clean and had a nice mini bar fridge. The downside was that they didn't have microwave ovens in the rooms, Essential sorted us out through the restaurant. The wifi login tends to be troublesome, I'd prefer they improve on that or find a simpler way to secure it and still allow flawless connecting.

I stayed at your hotel for a conference but loved the experience. Loved the food variety and abundance in chief's boma, large rooms and comfortable bed. The hotel was large so expect a lot of walking however there are transport carts to move you around.

The Lodge staff is absolutely lovely and so professional! The food is exceptional and breakfast is a feast! My bed was so comfortable and cozy so I really had a good nights sleep! Rooms are big and I even had a Nepresso machine in mine which was so nice! Shower had lots of water pressure and nice and hot, would highly recommend staying here on your next visit! Very quiet and easy to get to from OR Tambo, close to Mall and shops.
