KKazzy travelerInspirok Hotel Tongxiang- First time back in Tongxiang after 4 years. 7 nights in a spacious ”Business Room” in building B with 2 very firm king single beds that gave me a sore upper back. (I don't have back problems normally...) Flat pillows. The hopeless Air-conditioning struggled to get to an absolute low of 23C and was noisy. (32C days and 26C nights.). Huge bathroom with bath. Flow limited shower with hand shower and rain shower. Mostly quiet due to reduced occupancy and outside traffic. Good blockout curtains. International power points with USB power but you must have an earth pin if you want to use an Aussie plug. (Or risk manually pushing up the earth lockout.) Many free english movies available now on the tv in reasonable quality. One thing that I found particularly handy was that a small tube of liquid laundry detergent is supplied and some hooks above the bath.
There was no bar fridge in my room on arrival but one was quickly supplied, gratis, when I asked. (Empty).
Large shopping mall one block from the hotel and small 7-eleven type shop very near the front entrance where you can buy tsing taos for 6rmb.
The included buffet breakfast was pretty average with fewer choices and poorer quality than similar 5* hotels. Very average automatic coffee machines and coffee pots. It was also so overcrowded on the Sunday- with a convention booking- that many people could not be seated. Most mornings it was reasonably quiet.
Excellent room service Indonesian fried rice. I also had the ”all you can eat” buffet a couple of nights but thought that it was over priced for the quality of food available at 138RMB (approx 30aud.)
Reasonable wifi access throughout the hotel and I was able to read my Gmail but not send it. (I couldn't even download it in Jiangsu.)
There is no option on the Trip booking page to ask for 'special requests” for this hotel. Also no option to ask for a non smoking floor and I wasn't asked at check-in. Very annoying.

I simply must commend Tishang Hotel for its unparalleled attention to detail! The rooms are equipped with mattresses and pillows whose firmness can be adjusted. Even my mom, with her notoriously finicky neck, slept soundly all night! The breakfast spread was not just plentiful but utterly delightful, offering everything from Chinese dim sum to Western pastries—starting the day with such a meal felt truly therapeutic!
The hotel boasts a superb location—tucked away in the most secluded part of Xizha Scenic Area, offering both privacy and tranquility, yet remarkably convenient. A complimentary on-demand shuttle service is available to all scenic spots. The stunning infinity pool was a huge hit with the kids, who had an absolute blast; from the poolside, you can watch boats drift by on the river, a scene as picturesque as an ink wash painting.
This hotel genuinely hits all the right notes for families traveling with children! Thoughtful amenities, a prime location, and fantastic options for kids to burn off energy—it truly made our Wuzhen trip perfect! 💯

GGuest UserService is impeccable, staff provided very personalised butler service. Location is awesome. Staff provided personalised pick up service, avoided crowds and fast pass check in. Hotel gifted us with two lovely tubs of tea. Buggy service to indoor pool in nearby hotel. Breakfast also in nearby hotel.
Tv was too small when watching from bed. Do consider installing a bigger TV.

EEUC riderFantastic rooms. Very large and well appointed. Restaurants don’t do well for vegans but otherwise fine. Service in the Paulaner bar was slow with only one server the evening we tried it. It’s not cheap but it’s very good value for what you get. I’ve stayed twice and would definitely stay again. Recommended if you want to be near the train station.

GGuest UserThe hotel facilities are all excellent and brand new. The room was very spacious, perfect for two people! Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and slept really well. We were here for the Bibi concert, and parking and all other arrangements were super convenient. It truly feels like Jiaxing city puts a lot of thought and effort into things!
Both the hotel's public areas and our room were impeccably clean and well-maintained.
The location is also great and very convenient.
The service was absolutely fantastic! They even upgraded our room and included a complimentary breakfast. We were genuinely touched by their generosity. And speaking of breakfast, it was a real standout! I usually don't have high expectations for hotel breakfasts as they often feel pretty standard, but the one at Hilton Jiaxing was a huge plus! The food tasted great, and there was a wide variety of options. I was so busy eating that I completely forgot to take photos, haha! Even the coffee, which is often a letdown in hotels, was surprisingly good – I'd easily rank it in my top three among all hotel coffees I've had!
The complimentary single coffee set was also excellent!

GGuest UserAbsolutely fantastic! We stayed in a waterfront room, which was a truly special experience. My mother was carsick upon arrival, and the hotel even provided mung bean sweet soup and snow fungus soup for her in the evening. I highly recommend staying within the scenic area; the night views are absolutely stunning. The hotel was impeccably clean, and Xiao Dang, the staff member who assisted us, was incredibly warm and helpful. She came out early to meet us, helped with our luggage, introduced us to the attractions, suggesting routes and a recommended order of visit, and consistently checked in with us to see if we needed anything. The hotel breakfast was also delicious. Traveling with elderly parents and children, and with the hot weather, Xiao Dang thoughtfully advised me on the pros and cons of the hotel's breakfast versus trying local morning tea spots. In the end, we opted for the buffet breakfast at the hotel, and I also went to a morning tea spot to buy some specialty snacks to bring back and eat. Overall, it was a perfect experience and a perfect trip to Wuzhen. If I visit Wuzhen again, I would definitely choose to stay at Tong'an Inn.

AAnonymous UserThe room was clean and spacious, and it's incredibly close to Wuzhen Xishan Scenic Area! The front desk staff was very friendly. I didn't heed her advice to head out to the scenic area at 5 PM, and sure enough, I went too early, got tired quickly, and ended up missing the night view... Looks like I'll have to visit again! Parking assistance was always available. The washing machine and dryer were clean and convenient. The breakfast offered more variety than a typical guesthouse, and they even included two days of breakfast for our two children, which was very accommodating and flexible.

WWW711Wuzhen is truly exceptionally well-managed, with meticulous attention to detail. Each time I've visited over the years, there's always a new delightful surprise. This trip, we stayed within the Xizha scenic area, and the check-in process at the service center was incredibly smooth. The shuttle buses use a specially designed lane, built like a covered bridge, which cleverly avoids overlapping with the main sightseeing areas and instead runs exclusively along the ancient town's perimeter.
Noting we were a family, the hotel front desk thoughtfully arranged for us to have two rooms within a waterfront building. With a living room on the ground floor and two rooms upstairs, it genuinely felt like we had an entire villa to ourselves. Each room featured a charming, antique-style canopy bed, and the smart air mattresses offered adjustable firmness. From the window, we could gaze out at the picturesque small bridges and gentle streams, creating an ambiance that felt both elegant and modern.
Wuzhen is absolutely perfect for an early morning stroll; it's wonderfully peaceful and beautiful before the crowds arrive. Next time I visit in autumn, I'll definitely swap the hotel's breakfast buffet for breakfast at the floating market. It would be a delightful experience to soak up the sun and truly savour Wuzhen's charm there.

MMitchell ToddFor starters, I stay at this hotel for many years when it opened up. to my knowledge, this hotel has not had any renovations to the rooms since it’s opening. The carpets are in dire need of replacement, all the electrical outlets do very little to hold even the simplest of charging adapters. They all fall out and you have to use a book or something else to hold the adapter in place. For a foreigner, it is very difficult to find English-speaking staff, when checking in. The breakfast buffet is very limited as I suspect they are maintaining their costs due to lack of gas. The location is great for a small city as it is centrally located near the shopping mall and also some eating places nearby. It is not my choice of hotel in the area now as there is a newer, larger and much cleaner hotel nearby. However, on this day, I was put in a situation where I had to stay there because the other hotel was completely sold out and had been for several days. My recommendation for this hotel is they spend the much needed money for some renovations as it would be a good time since they do not have a ton of guest at the moment. They could section off certain floors of the hotel and start the renovations if possible. It is not a horrible stay just not to the level it was years ago.

WWaitandaiwangI give Alila Wuzhen a full score! This hotel was the biggest surprise of my trip to Wuzhen.
Guest Room:
I was upgraded to a garden villa room with an area of 145 square meters and an indoor area of 78 square meters. Visually, it feels large, and the living room and bedroom are designed as one. Although it is large, it does not feel empty.
The long corridor design of the bathroom space is well-thought-out. There is skylight on the top. They pour down, white and layered, which makes me, the occupant, feel bright and happy all of a sudden.
There is floor heating to resist the dampness and coldness of Jiangnan in winter.
The seemingly inconspicuous guest room welcome food is a small surprise and great care. It is a small pastry with coconut shreds, which looks like Jiangnan pastries. It is small, beautiful and delicious. The white snow-like coconut shreds are laid below. Does it mean snowing in winter? Unexpectedly, there is also a bottle of whiskey-like flat bottle of water. Looking more closely, it is the hotel's homemade jasmine white hair.
Food and Beverage:
Overall, it is quite high.
In the morning, we had a buffet with Wuzhen mutton noodles and eggs Benedict.
At Sanbai Bar, I experienced their newly launched afternoon tea for Spring Festival with my friends. At first glance, I felt festive. The red date wolfberry latte and the ”good news peanuts” with peanut crumbs left a deep impression.
Design:
It's easy to make a photo. I like it. The design company GOA is amazing.
What impressed me most was the abstract geometric architectural forms in this area presented between the sky and the water. The reflections are flowing and uncertain. It is also an expression of architectural order related to nature, expressing the hotel designer's understanding and innovative interpretation of traditional spatial aesthetics.
By the way, I saw egrets in the hotel!

Remarkable.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, meticulous care was like a shadow. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and professional, quickly checked in, and introduced the hotel restaurant, bar and other building locations.
Because Alila Wuzhen emphasizes the design of dramatic scenes, when I first arrived that day, it was like being in a Jiangnan maze. When I went to restaurants and bars, I met randomly uncles and aunts trimming plants and gave me enthusiastic guidance. I am grateful to them for taking me there.
