The place has so much history and culture - we are privileged to be able to be able to experience it all during our time in Jianshui.
The host (Zhao) is amazing - when we first arrived, he brought us around the place and told us all about it. During our stay, he goes above and beyond to make sure we are comfortable. He even accompanied me to the pharmacy to get some medication. We felt right at home after a day and felt sad to leave.
This place is close enough to the ancient city (7 min by foot). Around the corner, there is a local morning market. It’s small but you could see the hustle and bustle and even pick up some local fruits/food!
Room is not big but it is sufficient and clean. We weren’t confined to our room because the communal area is very inviting. You get to play with the occasional resident cat and dog!
Overall, this is a highly recommended for travelers seeking unique experiences!

We had a very pleasant stay at Fanqi Boutique. We booked three rooms for one night and it was really fantastic. Especially the owner is extremely friendly and makes every wish come true! If you go to Jianshui then definitely go to this hotel. It has everything you need, is good in shape, comfortable, clean and lovely. Thanks for this special stay!

Under the small door, there is a homestay with history from inside to outside. The owner enthusiastically helped me upgrade to a room in the backyard. Although the room is not big, it is full of details, and the hygiene and bedding are also in good condition. Finally, I especially like the banana leaves in the patio, and the light and shadows are floating when the sun shines down.

This is one of the most humane B&Bs I've ever stayed in. The environment doesn't need to be praised. After all, it's a cultural relic protection house. The indoor sanitation is very good. I booked Fanqi B&B after reading online reviews. On the morning of the day I submitted the order, I received a call from the store telling me about the nearby parking lot.
