Recommended ~ A very good youth hostel with reasonable layout in each area! Because it is a civil structure and the sound insulation is not that good, the boss will send a message at night to remind you to keep your voice down. If there is any disturbance, you can ask the staff to communicate. This is really thoughtful! Fortunately, everyone was quiet and had no problem resting. The room is clean and there is enough space to put suitcases and take things. The quadruple room is on the second floor, which is relatively quiet. The bathroom is also on the second floor which is more convenient. The shower room is on the other side. It's very comfortable to take a bath. The water is large and the water temperature is enough! The youth hostel has a terrace where you can dry your clothes and have a good view of the mountains in the distance. There is a small garden on the first floor for everyone to drink tea and chat, and there is also an indoor resting place. Overall a very clean and comfortable environment! The boss is very nice. He helped me carry my luggage upstairs when I checked in, and picked up the camera I left in the store when I left. Thank you very much! Shaxi is really a comfortable place. I will come again~

This hotel accommodated me so well and so quickly, I booked another hotel, to only get there and it have been closed for over a year, so I had to think fast and this hotel was right around the corner. They helped stranded me, were so lovely. Gave me a plate full of snacks on arrival. Breakfast was also great. The room was very pretty and comfortable. I didn’t get cold as there was a portable heater as well as an electric blanket. Very well situated as well. They also then helped carry my suitcase to the car park because the cobbled paths were a nightmare. Thanks so much! If I’m ever back in Shaxi, I’ll book here first!

Ah, everyone must stay at this hotel when you go to Shaxi~ The mattresses and pillows in the room are super comfortable to sleep, the environment is good, the boss lady is also very patient and gentle, the breakfast is really amazing~ The boss lady prepares it herself, you just need to inform the dining time in advance, and the boss lady is really super nice, she also helped us to arrange a car back to Dali Ancient Town, and you can ask her any questions, she will patiently answer and tell you the precautions, I will definitely stay at their house next time I go to Shaxi, a pleasant journey

It was a very comfortable inn to stay in. Parking is available in the small courtyard. Both personal requirements for the room were met. It was clean and quiet. The location is very convenient. It only takes two or three minutes to walk to the ancient town. The landlady is very warm and friendly. The boss is honest and simple. I only made a reservation for one day when I checked in. I told the landlady about my need for a bed the next day. She immediately agreed and replaced it quickly. After getting the bedding, I happily renewed my room reservation for the next day. Although I only stayed for two days, I was lucky enough to get to know two sisters from Chongqing who came to Shaxi. Their way of traveling allowed me to find a new direction. I hope to see you again in the future. Shaxi is a place where you can visit countless times. Next time I will choose Baiyu’s Former Residence again, eat dried papaya and apples made by the boss himself, and drink delicious Pu’er rose wine😄😄😄
