You can't ask the front desk lady to check in, help guests with their luggage, and clean up at the same time, right? Floor heating gives a suggestion to the next guests. A super good stay experience, it goes well with my beloved Shaxi. After arriving at the hotel, you will get a free upgrade to the suite, a fruit plate, hot milk at night, afternoon tea, breakfast and personalized services. Everything from hardware to software is great! The ladies at the B&B are also great, considerate, gentle and beautiful! It made me identify the Jixiashan brand, and I will choose it if I have the chance🤩🤩🤩I hope Shaxi will always be like this, quiet and beautiful! It is the most beautiful countryside and ancient town. I had a fantastic stay at Yingju Inn. The hotel is located in the most central place of Shaxi village. But more importantly, the manager was very helpful and professional. She speaks perfectly English and was able to help me for many things. She indicated me all the sights to visit in the area, and she booked my bus for me. It worth to be noticed, because after almost one month in China, it was the first time that I had a hotel with an English-speaking staff.

The Inn is conveniently located near the old town of Shaxi. A taxi can bring you to the front door. All rooms have views on the amazing garden with a small pond. On the first floor there is a roof terrace and a room with a pool table. The rooms are small but convenient and full of character because of the wooden construction of the building (can be a bit noisy from the neighbours though). The bathroom has a nice hot shower and a glass sliding door: so no wet floor in the rest of the bathroom. The staff is really friendly and offered us a plate of fresh fruit. They don’t speak English but we managed with our basic Chinese and translation app. Checking in and out was a bit confusing because only the owner can do it and he was not around at the time. Every day they serve a nice and diverse breakfast (mix of western and Chinese). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this inn.

The room was very nice, spacious, bright and tidy. The location is also very good. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the streets. Staying at this family run hotel turned out to be the highlight of our visit to Shaxi ancient town. The hotel has beautiful courtyards and impressive building architecture. It’s situated just steps away from the ancient town with many restaurants and shops nearby yet remains a quiet oasis once we step into the hotel. The hotel room is clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Bed is clean and comfortable with heated blanket. The host is very friendly and helped provide tips on attractions around town and transportation to Shaxi town. Breakfast was delicious and to our delight western breakfast option was provided. Good value for money and highly recommended.
