We were lucky to be greeted by the guest services manager on arrival and friendly reception staff. The room was extremely spacious and the view over the city and Hallasan was fantastic. It was a shame we were only staying for a night. Location was really good and free parking in the basement for hotel guests. It was just a short walk away from restaurants and shops. I would highly recommend staying here.

Facilities: Satisfactory. The elevators require a room card for access, which provided a good sense of security. Cleanliness: The room was very clean and highly comfortable. Ambiance: The setup with shopping downstairs and accommodation upstairs was pretty standard but convenient. There was also a doorman, and it felt very comfortable and quiet. Service: While there was a language barrier, I didn't encounter any issues that required specific assistance from the staff. Just a note: there's a 200,000 deposit (likely local currency) which can only be paid by bank card or cash – a minor inconvenience. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. I would definitely choose this place again, as transportation, dining, and shopping options are all incredibly convenient.

The hotel was quite clean, and we stayed for three nights. Haidilao Hot Pot is conveniently located on the fifth floor and is a popular spot for many Koreans. There's also a KFC on the first floor. Shilla Duty-Free Shop is right across the street, and to the right, you'll find Asia Pharmacy and convenience stores. It's truly super convenient! The hotel is actually situated right on Baojian Road Pedestrian Street, making shopping incredibly easy. Within a five or six-minute walk, you'll find Olive Young, ABC Mart, and Mega Coffee. The area is bustling with food options, including 24-hour pork bone soup, a lively night market street, spicy rice cakes, and various BBQ restaurants. It's incredibly convenient. The housekeeping service was excellent. Every day, the staff would clean our room while we were out in the afternoon. They took care of all our trash (including any we left outside the door), changed the bed sheets, and promptly replaced the bathroom towels. Our room was on a fairly high floor, the 16th floor, which allowed us to enjoy the sunrise from our window every morning 🌅. We hadn't initially booked breakfast but decided to add it one day. To our surprise, it was quite good! The noodle soup was delicious, and the fruit was very fresh. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very close to the airport, making taxi rides very convenient. It cost 6300 KRW to get here, and only around 20-something RMB for a ride-hailing service on the way back. There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs. Exiting the 7-Eleven, Olive Young is immediately to your right, though their selection is limited. A CU convenience store is just a short walk past the side exit, to your left, and the friendly gentleman from Northeast China working there was truly welcoming. Diagonally opposite the hotel is 'About Coffee'. They have self-ordering kiosks with Chinese language options, and while there's no table service, it offers excellent value. Coffee and cakes are only around 20-something RMB each and taste quite good. Shilla Duty Free is conveniently located a few hundred meters to the left of the hotel. Check-in is strictly after 3 PM; early arrivals will not be able to access their rooms. The front desk does have Chinese-speaking staff. Some rooms feature bathtubs, while others have showers. The bathtub rooms lack shower curtains, which is a bit inconvenient as water tends to splash out. There were some stains on the carpet and walls. Disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers are not provided, so guests need to bring their own. Rooms are cleaned daily, and amenities are replenished, with two complimentary bottles of water provided each day. Both the mini-fridge and air conditioning unit worked great. Overall, considering the price of just over 300 RMB, it offers decent value.

My elderly mum and me had a wonderful stay at Maison Glad, the hotel is a big property, there are two wings whereby my aunt and cousin stayed at another wing. We got a corner room and it was very spacious with two double beds. The toilet was equipped with standing shower and bath tub. It was a relief for us as we preferred standing shower as our legs were not that good to climb into the bath tub. The hotel breakfast is international style and there are different fruit drinks to choose. The hotel lobby has a cafe selling bakery and coffee, we spent our leisure there in afternoon too. Hotel staff are all very friendly and polite. The hotel location is very convenient diagonally across Shila duty free shop and many restaurants.

The hotel's location is excellent, with a bus stop right outside. A Starbucks and GS25 convenience store next door made grabbing breakfast daily super easy. The room having a refrigerator was very convenient. However, the bed was a bit soft, and only one pillow was provided. The toilet and sink were also in separate areas. A great plus was that the outlets were compatible with Chinese plugs, so no adapter was needed. On the downside, basic amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, combs, and disposable slippers are not provided. Each floor features a shared kitchen, fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, water, kitchen paper, food bags, gloves, and more. For the check-in deposit, they only require your credit card number for registration, with no actual charge made. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, which made communication very easy.

The room was clean, and housekeeping service was provided during my two-day stay. The only minor issue was the lack of a universal power adapter. The front desk staff could speak simple Chinese. Check-in is only possible after 3 PM, and early check-in is charged at 10,000 KRW per hour. I stayed two nights at Gloucester and one night at Lotte. Overall, this hotel offers better value for money than Lotte Hotel, and its location is also superior, with convenient dining and transportation options nearby.

The service was great. The lobby was clean, well-maintained, and quite spacious. We booked a family twin room with two beds, one large and one small, which was perfect for three people. Disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and cups were provided, making it feel very hygienic. The room also had a refrigerator and a safe. The hotel is conveniently located diagonally opposite Baojian Road and is very close to the duty-free store. The only slight drawback was that the soundproofing in the street-facing rooms was just average.

I didn’t realise that this is a residence hotel when I made my reservation in a hurry. I was disappointed that we can only get help from staff through WeChat, which is inconvenient until the hotel accepted us as a friend (and this took some time). However, once the communication channel is established, the response was prompt and the staff made the effort to give us what we requested for. So it was overall a pleasant stay 😊

The hotel room has a modern feel. The projector TV is a great touch, allowing for seamless screen mirroring, and it's incredibly smooth. The large floor-to-ceiling windows were amazing. Waking up in the morning and pressing the button to open the electric curtains, I was immediately captivated by the lush green views outside. The room also features a spa tub, and they thoughtfully provided a bubble bath bomb, perfect for a relaxing soak to unwind after a long day. The toiletries are from Bvlgari, leaving my hair smelling lovely and feeling incredibly smooth after washing. The hotel's landscaping, filled with lush greenery, surpasses even some parks in beauty, with delightful surprises around every corner. I was particularly captivated by the purple hydrangeas nestled in the green bushes – absolutely stunning! It truly shows the Koreans' admirable pursuit of aesthetic perfection. I took countless photos, yet felt I couldn't capture enough of its splendor. The hotel's scenery is truly beyond words. Now for a few suggestions: Check-in: We arrived at 1 PM, but check-in officially begins at 3 PM. While no one was in line when we first got there, I was confused why others seemed to be processed ahead of me when check-in actually started, and the staff couldn't provide a clear reason. This was a bit frustrating. I suggest the front desk consider processing check-ins on a first-come, first-served basis as rooms become available, perhaps starting from 2 PM, as a concentrated check-in rush at 3 PM is inefficient and can easily annoy guests. Restaurant: We dined at the restaurant around 8 PM on our check-in day. To my disappointment, there were only a few slices of salmon left. When I asked if more would be brought out, I was told there wouldn't be any. Given that dinner is advertised until 9:30 PM, it's puzzling why items aren't replenished until closing. We were left with only lobster, abalone, and steak. Frankly, at over 700 RMB per person (after discount), the Japanese offerings didn't quite live up to the quality one would expect from island seafood, which was a bit regrettable. I'd suggest expanding the variety of Japanese dishes. The Korean options were unremarkable, and the Chinese selection seemed to attract few diners. However, the mini desserts and Haagen-Dazs ice cream were truly excellent 👍. Breakfast, at over 200 RMB per person after discount, also lacked authentic Korean dishes. I'd recommend the hotel's dining services consider adding a wider range of restaurants with varying price points, offering more diverse options like dedicated Korean, Japanese, or Western dining for guests to choose from. I heard the package was supposed to include an Olive Young voucher, but it wasn't offered to me, and I didn't actively seek it out or ask. Despite these minor points, overall, the hotel is still highly recommended. It offers a rare sense of tranquility, and its beautiful environment leaves a lasting impression. I look forward to visiting again with friends.
