Service: I've stayed at many hotels, and this one's front desk staff had the worst attitude, especially a short-haired woman. She was disdainful the whole time, and her tone when speaking English was incredibly condescending. Far worse than the Bolton next door! Amenities: It's an older hotel, so the facilities are quite dated. You even have to pay for toothbrushes. Environment: I was worried about the environment, so I specifically booked the 'Executive' room. It was okay, but there was a mirror facing the bed, which was really creepy. Soundproofing was poor. I could hear the phone ringing clearly in the next room, and in the morning, I was woken up by the phone next door and corridor noise. I won't be coming back. It's not as good as the Grand Hyatt or the Bolton.

The hotel is quite large, and the Select Room was spacious. It's a grand hotel with two swimming pools, and its location directly across from Shilla Duty Free makes it incredibly convenient for getting around.

The worst hotel ever. When we entered the room, we washed our hands and found a short hair on the counter. During check-in, I clearly communicated with the front desk about possibly extending our stay for another day. The front desk staff's English was terrible. They vaguely mentioned extending through Trip.com and said they would hold the room until 9 AM the next day. However, at 7 AM, the front desk called to tell us there were no rooms available. After a long, polite discussion, they basically said there were no rooms and we had to leave. What I hated most was that at check-in, they didn't mention which floor breakfast was on or that it ended at 10 AM. When I talked about extending, at 10 AM, my kids went to the restaurant where people were still eating, but they weren't allowed in, told it was over. My kids came back at 10:03 AM. I asked if they could just go in for a quick egg, but they coldly refused. It was disgusting. My two kids didn't get breakfast, and I had already paid 300 for it.

It's a suite, large and very comfortable. Right across the street is a duty-free shop, and a stone pot bibimbap restaurant near the duty-free shop has excellent food. The OLIVE YOUNG store is also nearby. The airport bus goes directly there in 7 stops.

The room was very spacious and offered great value for money. Traveling with a baby, my little one absolutely loved the hotel breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and the hotel's location is super convenient, not far from Hamdeok Beach or Udo Island. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

This old five-star hotel, at 1000 a night, feels a bit overpriced because the facilities are quite dated. However, the location is indeed excellent. Shilla Duty Free is right across the street, Lotte Duty Free is only a ten-minute walk away, and Baojian Street is just a 5-minute walk.

Located in the heart of New Jeju, the hotel boasts an excellent location, just a short walk from Shilla and Lotte Duty-Free shops and a bustling pedestrian street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. As an established five-star hotel, Grand Hotel offers fantastic value for money. The service is warm and welcoming, with the front desk staff able to speak some basic Chinese. The greeters and porters are also very friendly. The rooms are spacious, and the higher floors offer nice views. The cleanliness is satisfactory. Two bottles of drinking water and disposable slippers are provided, but toothbrushes and toothpaste need to be purchased separately.

1. The double room is incredibly small. I wouldn't recommend it if you can't stand small rooms. 2. The hotel charges a RMB 1500 deposit per night. We ended up paying a RMB 3000 deposit for our stay (whereas the Grand Hyatt next door only charges RMB 500 per night). What's more, the hotel's informational pamphlet was entirely in Chinese. 3. The hotel assigned us a room that hadn't been properly cleaned (there was still toilet paper in the bowl). 4. When I showed the hotel staff photo evidence of the uncleaned room, they told us to drag our luggage downstairs ourselves to switch rooms. For a hotel at this price point, I was surprised there was no one to escort us. 5. The hotel doesn't have a designated luggage storage area. Instead, they just cordon off a section of the lobby with retractable barriers for luggage. Honestly, this is the first time I've seen something like this at a hotel of this caliber. Hope this helps you make an informed decision when booking.
