"Newly renovated, the downside is that the air conditioner is noisy and the air volume can't be adjusted. It's probably not suitable for a winter stay here, but it's the perfect summer getaway. The water is excellent and the bathing is comfortable."

"My husband and I stayed here for one night. We arrived early and asked for an early check in. The staff were very kind and said they would alert the cleaning staff to prioritize our room and call us when it was ready. They called us and our room was ready early. It was a very nice accommodation they made for us.
The staff also provided us an upgrade to a suite. The suite was clean and functional. The bathroom counter was very short, even for myself who is 5'5”. The couch was clean but cushions could us some new stuffing.
The hotel lobby offered tea and coffee all day long and a public washroom.
As for the facilities we used the indoor pool facilities (including hot tub and showers) and the outdoor hot tubs. The indoor pool women's bathroom needs to be upgraded. There is one large shower with 2 nozzles. No option for privacy. 1 of 2 shower head nozzles did not work The other shower nozzle was difficult to set to the correct temperature. I did not use the sauna but noticed one available in the women's bathroom.
The indoor hot tub and outdoor hot tubs were not hot enough. I typically do not like hot tubs as they are too hot for myself however these felt like the temperature of a hot shower.
The hotel is only a 20 minute walk to town. The restaurant next to the Inn, The Whisky Jack Grill, is open for dinner and had great food and service.
For the price I would book again as the room was clean and the staff were very accommodating and friendly."

"A motel-style hotel. The price was a bit high if I booked it late, but considering that the hotel in town has only been open for more than three months, the price was acceptable. The terra restaurant in the hotel is very famous. You can't eat there without reservation. Please be informed."

"I have stayed in this hotel many times. The location and facilities are excellent. It is a very good choice for Jasper. However, the soundproofing is average. Even late at night, there are still children running in the corridor, which is very noisy. If you need quiet, you must make a request, otherwise you will be arranged to a room at the farthest end of the corridor (a long way to go)."

"We booked this hotel with the hopes to experience Jasper National Park in comfort and luxury in support from Pyramid Lakes Resort as our spot to rest and relax. Unfortunately, our experience at the resort was not restful. Upon heading to bed after 4 hours of driving from Edmonton after a 3 hour plane ride, we were awoken at 2am to the AC unit making an obnoxious noise. After waiting about 5 minutes, the noise subsided and we headed back to sleep thinking nothing of it. That was until… the noise from the AC unit (even when turned off) went on until 5am sporadically and obnoxiously. We attempted to call the front desk to resolve our issue, and they simply said “we’re sorry for the inconvenience, let’s see what we can do” and never got a call in return the rest of the night. In hopes to rest and recover, we slept in on vacation the following day and were awoken by a wake up call forcing us to leave our room stating “check out for all rooms is at 11am” with no apology or sincerity included in the message. Jasper is beautiful and breathtaking as is Pyramid Lake. The resort however, did not live up to its standards. Our hope is management will reach out to resolve this. "

"Overall, a great trip. The hotel service was good. Upon checking in, our room was unfortunately noisy and had a strong petrol smell, but they promptly moved us to a new room. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the town center, but there's a bus stop right outside. The only minor downside was that the swimming pool hours were quite limited, seemingly only open in the evenings."

Cozy and clean room, nice shower, a queen size bed with additional pull out sofa bed. Have coffee making machine too.

Basement suite with a private Entrance, only couple minute walk from downtown Jasper. Kitchenette, King bedroom, with pull out couch. Our tourist suite is located in the basement of our family home. Cozy getaway located in the heart of the beautiful Rocky Mountain. Our kitchenette has NO OVEN OR STOVE but we do provides an induction burner, microwave, full size fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, pot and pans, glassware, plates, cutlery, utensils, cooking utensils, basic spices, oils, paper towel, and linens. Our bathroom has towels, toilet paper, soaps, first aid kit, and other complimentary toiletries. Linens are included for our double pull out couch, and king size bed. We also include an extra blow up mattress and kids pack n play in the closet. There is an assortment of board games, cards, and kids toys for your enjoyment. Our living room has a Roku tv, with cable, Netflix and other streaming networks are available with your own accounts. Wireless internet provided. We do have small kids that live upstairs in our family home, we do our best to keep them quiet during sleeping hours but you may hear them from time to time. There is a Large private outside patio area with BBQ, prep station, patio furniture, and outdoor dining set for your enjoyment, it is located just outside the doors to your suite. My name is Lena and I live on site to answer any questions you may have and to assist you with your stay. Self check in system with key located in lock box on the door to your suite. Parking available located in front of the entrance to suite. MMCUZZAThe Astoria Hotel is in a great location right in the heart of Jasper, which makes it super convenient for exploring the town and nearby attractions. The room was very clean, which I really appreciated, and the staff were friendly. However, the hotel itself feels a bit dated, and for the price, I was expecting slightly better in-room amenities—especially the coffee facilities, which were pretty underwhelming. Overall, it’s a decent stay if location is your top priority, but don’t expect anything fancy.
