Beautiful hotel, excellent food and service!

A very cozy Japanese hot spring hotel. The time-divided hot spring and outdoor pool are nice. The dinner and breakfast are very exquisite and ceremonial. The service is very nice and English communication is no problem.

An old hot spring hotel. Except for the supervisor at the front desk who was a little serious, other hotel staff were very enthusiastic.

This trip to Shuzenji Onsen Arai Ryokan feels very cost-effective. I felt the Japanese hot spring culture. The Japanese courtyard-style hotel is exquisite and nice! Please note that there is a toilet in the room, but no bathroom🛀 The hotel is a government-certified tourist hotel with a history of more than 200 years. The courtyard is very beautiful. It is amazing that it can be maintained and repaired to this day👍 There are 5 hot springs in the hotel, two of which are private. One is free for everyone, and the other requires a paid reservation, 1,000 yen for 45 minutes, which is also okay. But the view of the open-air bath is still the best

The room is big, and the gurgling water outside the window is very nice. When we went out for a walk on a summer night, the old gentleman at the front desk came to tell us that there was a park not far from the door where we could see fireflies. It was very fun. Please note that you are not allowed to wear your own slippers in the hotel, you need to change into their shoes (they don't follow your feet, be careful not to fall).

Located on the main street of Shuzenji Onsen, the hotel itself is a cultural asset with beautiful garden views. Some of the service staff were older grandmothers, who were very considerate and serious. The grandmother who was in charge of dinner would come to the door of the room in advance to introduce herself and ask if there were any special requirements for the meal, what food taboos were, etc., which was very meticulous.

Because of the language barrier, everyone worked hard to communicate and assisted with gestures~ In fact, when I went to Japan this time, I clearly felt that the service industry has changed and the overall quality has declined, especially for the younger generation.

The room faced the stream and the bamboo forest. When I got up early in the morning and opened the curtains, I saw red leaves. Meals: Proportional to the amount I paid, the ingredients are fresh, but the variety and quality are not high. There is a gap compared with Kanazawa, Izu Higashi, Hokkaido, etc. that I have been to. Of course, the price of Arai will be 20% lower. Service: The steward in a suit at the front desk gave a bad review. Although he was very attentive, he looked impatient to see non-Chinese people! Other service staff are very friendly and polite.

There are also many attractions near the hotel, such as the Bamboo Forest Trail, Hongqiao Station, and Xiuchen Temple. Room sound insulation is poor. The surrounding attractions are quickly finished. The front desk service rules are very strange. It stipulates check-in at three o'clock. Passengers are not even allowed to sit in the lobby. The sun is very hot outside. I have been shopping with my children for 2 hours, but I was banned from entering the lobby by the front desk of the hotel where I was about to check in. Very angry. After arguing with reason, he was arranged to rest in one of their art rooms. The service awareness at the front desk is relatively poor. I asked the way how to get to Mount Omuro, and told you that it would take 2 hours. The road is too far and I suggest you not to go. The hotel dinner and breakfast are relatively rich, and the price of 2588 RMB for 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners is also more reasonable. It's not bad or bad, but the menu and food look more refined. The small shop opposite the hotel sells tofu ice cream, which is very, very delicious and unforgettable. The hotel's hot springs are a major feature. There are many pools and different time periods. You can soak in hot springs for free. There are no hot springs in the room. It really helps sleep. The toner in the room is also very comforting. No disposable slippers.
