Arai Ryokan

This is the ceiling of the hot spring hotel I have stayed in so far! I haven't been to too many hot springs. I have stayed in Gero Onsen Yunoshima, Kurokawa Onsen Oyado and Yunping Onsen Yamashiro Ryokan. This is the fourth Japanese hot spring hotel. Arai Ryokan is undoubtedly the best, and it is much better. First of all, it has a sense of history built in 1872. Secondly, the winding wooden bridge in the garden, the forest of giant trees, and the various styles of architectural design interspersed in the plump koi pond are very clever. Thirdly, the whole hotel seems to have been renovated not long ago, and all the details are brand new and clean, especially the wooden floor handrail pillars are very clean. Finally, the giant stone hot spring that is adapted to local conditions is very distinctive, and the wild sky bath is also beautiful. The Tonger room we stayed in may be the best in the whole venue, with a large fish pond in front and a small forest courtyard in the back, and the scenery is first-class. The female general is very thoughtful, the kaiseki cuisine is rich, and the quilt is also comfortable. Everything is very satisfactory! I got a wonderful experience and left an unforgettable memory. I will go again if I have the chance!

1. Located in a small town with a good environment, people who like quietness will love it. The room is by the river, and there is gurgling water outside the window. 2. Good service. The baby fell asleep when I checked in. The tatami was already laid in the room. I was surprised that there was only one tatami. They said they saw the baby sleeping and came up to lay it temporarily. When I came back from dinner in the morning, all the tatami were put away, the tea table was put back in place, and the tea set was changed. The pattern was different from the previous day, so I felt relieved to use it. 3. The hotel's breakfast and dinner tasted good, recommended. 4. The service was very good, typical Japanese attentiveness. I like it very much and will go again.

A very cozy Japanese hot spring hotel. The time-divided hot spring and outdoor pool are nice. The dinner and breakfast are very exquisite and ceremonial. The service is very nice and English communication is no problem.

This trip to Shuzenji Onsen Arai Ryokan feels very cost-effective. I felt the Japanese hot spring culture. The Japanese courtyard-style hotel is exquisite and nice! The Japanese cuisine in the morning and evening is suitable for the taste of the elderly. The meticulous service of the service staff makes people feel at home. Everyone has a translation software, which shortens the distance with the guests. There is no problem in communication. I enjoyed the hot spring service of a century-old Japanese restaurant.

Very good experience, good service, good environment, and unique food. I will stay here again. For reference, a taxi to Kitagawa and Atagawa costs RMB 650, and to Omuroyama costs about RMB 500. It's a 50-minute journey.
