Itoen Hotel Toi

It's an old hotel, so everything except the facilities and cleanliness is great.. The view is especially great..

The view was amazing! The sunset was beautiful!

I chose this accommodation as it was okay to check in late due to time constraints. At night, other than the number of cars, I didn't feel that there were that many guests, but I noticed how crowded the restaurant was during breakfast time. The structure of the building clearly indicates that it has been expanded upon, and I was a little confused by the length of the passageway from getting off the elevator to my room. Despite the large number of guests staying at the hotel, the hot spring facilities were kept well-maintained and we were able to use them comfortably. The smoking single room in the out bath was a little larger than a business hotel, and although it was easy to use, for some reason there was no ``ashtray'' provided. The next day, I walked around the building and found that there were a lot of stairs to get to the restaurants and hot springs. Considering the price, I don't have any complaints, but I was disappointed that it might be a bit difficult for people with walking problems.

I was invited there during the Cherry Blossom Festival. The bath was average. The room was average too. The view from the room was amazing. But the food was awful! It was Itoen so I wasn't expecting a feast, but it was still awful. I arrived at the venue about 5 minutes into mealtime and it was noticeable that the plates were already empty. There was no shrimp pizza or tempura either. They were replenished after a while, but I never saw any pizza. The beef stew had not beef in it but something like Spam in it, which was awful. This is the only place where they had something like ham in it, even though it's a menu item that is served at other Itoen restaurants!

The view is also good. However, I have to go down the stairs with heavy luggage to get on the elevator. The bath has several steps, but there are stairs. It may be a little hard for the elderly. I can hear the birds chirping and I think it's good.

This time I stayed with my two grandchildren, so it was on the first floor. I always wanted a high-rise floor, but in Toi, the 4th floor is the lobby floor. It was small, but there was a pool on the first floor. It was very crowded during summer vacation. Dinner is a buffet, but if you make a reservation for a special dish, you will be guaranteed a seat. Sunset looks good.
