My friend and I were staying at Mount Ararat Hotel for three nights. We were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. Even though we barely stayed in our room, the room had everything what we needed after a long day outdoors. The beds were very comfortable, the place was clean and so was the bathroom. There were a lot of restaurants nearby and during the evening the neighbourhood became very lively with locals and tourists. We were happy that after a tiring day we could grab some food and drinks with our hotel in the close proximity. On our last evening Saleh helped us arranging the transport to the airport which was top-notch! On the other hand, we had an arrangement with breakfast included and it was slightly disappointing. It was buffet with various choices of food and drinks but my friend and I are a little bit fussy. We preferred to grab something on our way to the city centre. It is not a deal breaker though. All in all, good value for money. We were satisfied about our choice and would definitely come back.

Here for 6 nights,Cannot fault this hotel at all. The hotel smells lovely,The rooms are made daily for me and the staff have been lovely. It's a beautiful hotel with vintage style decor,This hotel has that old style luxury to it.I have found it to be clean and nice and the staff go out of their way for you.Don't let the other feedback put you off and enjoy your stay.

All the staff are most helpful and friendly. The rooms are very modern and the location is very good for all you want to do in the Old Town. Restaurant has some great meals and the breakfast buffet was terrific and extensive. The views are fantastic there too! A slight problem we had was sorted out professionally and promptly. We were most impressed with this hotel and highly recommend it.

The hotel is very new and comfortable, but the transportation is not very convenient because of the restricted traffic section. It is troublesome to call a taxi every time. However, the facilities and environment are quite good. The room is a larger room. However, the two rooms are the same room type, but the actual size is not the same. There is also the sound of renovation in the morning. Everything else is OK. There is a restaurant downstairs, which is very convenient.

This is a standard hotel offering the expected standards of a name brand chain like Hilton. Room was a bit small but that is the case with most hotels in IST. We did not try the breakfast. The hotel’s location is great with shops, restaurants and tram stops just 5 minutes walk away as well the Bosphorus with boat rides is steps away and yet the hotel location is secluded with no noise disturbance. The only hitch is a 20 meter uphill walk to reach the main door of the hotel. The traffic in the area being quite bad, most people get left off in the main road and have to push their luggage to the hotel.

Spent a total of eight nights at this hotel. Our stay was extremely enjoyable for the following reasons: # The hotel was spotless. Our room was clean and the staff who serviced the room each day did an outstanding job. # Location. The hotel is located in a very busy area, but access to public transport was easy with tram and underground stations located within walking distance. Nearby, there were stacks of places to eat a variety of foods and ATM's, supermarkets and all the things a traveller needs were a 'stone's throw' away. # Access to major attractions was easy- the tram line allowed you quick access to a number of important tourist attractions. # Breakfast- Included in the price and for once there was plenty of fresh, good quality food on offer. The dining area was clean and the staff extremely attentive. # Price Point- the room represented good value for money. # Staff- very helpful and with a sound knowledge base. Thinking of staying here- book it!

For me this hotel with the best service and good breakfast and room is absolutely the choice of always when I travel to Istanbul. Always there

Room is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Location is also very conveniently and walkable to most landmarks. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel. Rooftop bar is beautiful with amazing night view of the city. Really appreciate front desk staff who allowed us to check in early after our long flight. Only some issues - AC is not very strong, even though we had it at 18 degree in summer weather. Hotel staffs are very helpful and can be fierce looking 🤣 In conclusion we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

I would say all the price is for the location near sultanahmet & the tram station nearby. The property looks outdated and the rooms are not so well kept or equipped. Actual rooms differ from the what are shown during the booking process. The hotel have got centralised air conditioned system managed by the hotel management. During our visit we had to ask them to provide us with a fan as the room was super hot and suffocating due to central heating. The bathroom was clean but the sink was small and had drainage issues. Beds were comfortable and the linen were clean. Room service need to be a little pro active as I asked to be provided 2 water bottles to keep my fast which were never provided. I don’t think I’d chose to stay there again for the price provided.

The front desk staff is very enthusiastic, and these few fixed staff can fully understand your needs. But when I checked in one day, the shower room was leaking. After changing the room, the luggage rack in the cupboard was still broken. The facilities need to be improved, but the service is good. Overall, the room types in Istanbul are relatively small, but the facilities are complete. The hotel is conveniently located and you can walk to the old city.
