Hotels Near Palazzo Reale in Ischia

Omg, what can I say?? Can’t speak highly enough of this Ischia icon, Grand hotel punta molino! From when we stepped out the ferry, promptly welcomed by the smart and smiling Ciro on the transfers, to Ciro the concierge( such a charismatic figure and so friendly!) and all the team at the reception , ladies and boys,ever smiling, helpful and knowledgeable. A mention to the GM Antonio Buono, what a gent, he’s a constant presence and reassurance to his team, at the point that the other day he was around the beach asking customers if they wanted any drinks ordered,what a humble guy, he always had a word with everybody by let you feel special,what a professional. Not forgetting all the lifeguards on the beach from the head Franco to all the rest of the team, the staff at the breakfast and the housekeepers, all amazing. Very disappointed for the price we paid , Good - Waiters in the restaurant were very efficient, friendly , hard working and professional. Everywhere kept clean Massage relatively good Barbecue evening was the best food all week Bad - Lack of English spoken , lack of information on amenities, local areas , buses etc - the only English notice I saw read Totally Forbidden to fill water bottles up from water station ! Having to wear Swim Caps to use any of the pools , I have never heard of this before of travelling globally for the last 40 yrs ! Although filters in the pool were old and rusty ! Dated bedrooms with extremely small bathrooms and some balcony’s literally looking into bushes . Noise from the evening entertainment goes on up to midnight so we could hardly sleep Breakfast was ok but mainly a very large selection of cakes ( pity some of these couldn’t have been offered as the desserts for Evening Meal Evening Meal , although served to a high standard with trolleys and silver food domes ( abit over the top ) was very disappointing. The Salad bar was the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel , it was very poor and not much of it either . Main meal was disappointing too and dessert you couldn’t help yourself but choose from 4 and when one ran out your choice got less . Some Reception staff not very helpful or welcoming on our arrival , requested an early morning call at 5am on our day of departure and we never got it ( good job we were up ) Others got Breakfast bags on an early morning check out but not us ! Would I return , definitely not !Or book through Voyage Privé , definitely not .

I had the most amazing time staying in this hotel for 21 nights. I was so happy with the room I was given (26) which had a balcony and a beautiful sea view. This was a single room and I really liked how authentic it was which I felt, matched the style of Ischia perfectly! The room was always spotless as it was cleaned daily by a lovely, friendly cleaner. I always felt safe and comfortable here and it was good to have such a nice person at reception who was so helpful and always had a chat with me :) For me the character of the hotel made it and my favourite part was the garden with gorgeous flowers and plants and areas to sit. I couldn’t believe how close the hotel was to beaches, shops, restaurants, cafes etc and this combined with the friendly community of Ischia for me, made it the most perfect place to stay! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome ❤️.

Sono stata insieme alla mia famiglia... bellissima esperienza, ci siamo trovati non bene, ma benissimo. Hotel è gestito da una famiglia. Sono persone molto gentili, semplici e disponibili. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. Hotel offre un' abbondante colazione, c'è la possibilità di prenotare il pranzo di ottima qualità con prezzi abbordabili. C'è una bella piscina. Altamente consigliato! Noi sicuramente ci ritorneremo!

We stayed one night at the Grand Hotel Serapide. Excellent service and we were deeply impressed by the view from our hotel room. The hotel is state of the art, clean, comfortable and brand new. Sergio, one man for everything was outstanding. Concierge, manger at the reception and speaks excellent English. When we are back to Naples we will book the Grand Hotel Serpide again.
