"Review of Wanda Vista Hotel.
My stay at the Wanda Vista Hotel had its positives, but also quite a few frustrating issues. The hotel itself was nice, and the room was comfortable, but the location wasn’t ideal since it’s right on a highway, making it less convenient for exploring the area. Aside from that, it was okay, but there were several maintenance problems that definitely affected my experience. The biggest issue was that the room had several things broken, and despite bringing it to the staff’s attention, nothing was really fixed except for the door. The shower leaked all over the floor by the sink, which was both annoying and a safety hazard, but no one bothered to fix it. The skirting board was also broken, adding to the feeling that the room wasn’t being properly maintained. On top of that, we had an apartment with a kitchen, but the hotel refused to provide any kitchen accessories unless we were staying for more than 10 days, which seemed like a ridiculous rule. It didn’t make sense to have a kitchen that we couldn’t actually use. After complaining, I eventually got the accessories, but it was frustrating that I even had to go through that process in the first place.Overall, while the hotel had potential, the lack of proper maintenance and the odd policies made the stay less enjoyable than it could have been. If they paid more attention to fixing issues and improving customer service, it could be a much better experience."
