The accessibility to public transportation was a major highlight, allowing us to travel seamlessly around the city. We appreciated the daily room service and the regular supply of fresh towels, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. The in-room slippers were a thoughtful addition, providing comfort after long days of sightseeing, and the complimentary bottled water ensured we stayed refreshed. "Beautiful scenery from corner room on 20th floor. Ateez merchandise store happened to be in the same building, so that was fun (although I’m a business traveler. The world famous Isaac Toast was just down the street next to a nice walking party for an early morning stroll. Hotel has a very nice lounge and restaurant in 21st floor with amazing places to sit and read, lot out the window for hours, play pool, listen to music, use computers, etc. it’s truly top-tier. There is also a bar on the next floor up. Everything about this hotel was excellent. I would definitely stay again, but would want this same room for breathtaking views throughout the day and night. 😎"

"I had a fantastic stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Seoul! The location is incredibly convenient—just a short walk from major subway lines and surrounded by great restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly, efficient, and went out of their way to help with everything from restaurant recommendations to airport directions.The room was spotless, modern, and surprisingly quiet for such a central spot. The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was excellent, and I appreciated the little touches like free Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets for charging devices. Breakfast had a solid mix of Korean and Western options, and everything was fresh and well-stocked.If you're looking for a clean, reliable, and well-located hotel in Seoul without breaking the bank, this is a great choice. I’d definitely stay here again."

"Room is spacious enough for us, family of 3 (with a 2 year old). There is a double and single bed, so we can sleep comfortably. The toilet is also wide enough. There is a small pantry with a sink, a stove and a microwave. Cutleries are also provided. With a huge fridge and freezer. There is also a small sitting area for eating. The location is great in Chungmuro station with access to line 4 and line 3 just down the corner. There is a GS25, Starbucks, Paris Baguette nearby. Dong Dae Mun and Myeong Dong is just one stop away. Namsangol Village is just a short walk away. The amenities are also great, with luggage locker, self check in, refillable coffee and tea bags every day. Daily cleaning is also provided. The only drawback is that the lifts tend to be a bit slow, but if you plan your trip accordingly, it should not be an issue."

"This hotel is simply fantastic! First off, regarding accessibility: if you're coming from the airport with light luggage, it's a direct 5-minute walk from Gongde Station Exit 1. If you have a lot of luggage, you can take the elevator at Exit 8, then walk a short distance and cross the street. Mapo Station Exit 2 also has an elevator, but getting there would require a transfer, and subway transfers in Korea often mean a considerable walk – so it's generally better to stick to the Gongde exits. Being close to two subway stations (Gongde and Mapo) makes getting around incredibly convenient. Secondly, right downstairs from the hotel, there's a local Korean coffee chain, and their bingsu (shaved ice) is quite good. However, for coffee, I'd recommend sticking to the complimentary options in the hotel lobby, as the downstairs shop tends to add too much sugar. To the right of the hotel entrance, you'll find an Olive Young (which is often less crowded, making tax refunds easier), Samdeok Fried Chicken (offering delicious pineapple makgeolli and tteokbokki, with long operating hours), McDonald's, and Subway. To the left, there's 'Niuyue,' which offers high-quality beef offal dishes, and a 7-11 convenience store. Across the street, you'll find a Starbucks, and if you venture further down the alley just past it, you'll discover a vibrant food street. I particularly recommend the breakfast served at the Gyeongbokgung restaurant on the hotel's 2nd floor. They offer 6 authentic Korean dishes of excellent quality. Just remember not to compare them to Chinese cuisine, as Korean dishes are generally simpler overall. Additionally, the Korean BBQ on the 2nd floor also offers excellent quality. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are authentic, and the atmosphere is quite private. Naturally, the prices are on the higher side, but they also offer various set menus and fixed-price meals. The hotel facilities themselves are excellent. The room size is decent, and each room comes with both a shower and a bathtub. Housekeeping cleans the rooms punctually every day. Complementary amenities such as an ice machine, microwave, washing machine, dryer, and gym are also readily available. If I ever visit Seoul again, I would definitely choose this hotel."

"Everything was good. The location. The room. There is a 24*7 convenience store downstairs. There is a machine to change currency or recharge transit card. There are options to book airport taxi or to train station. Euljiro 3 station for Line 2 and 3 is only 7-8 mins walking. There are several cafes, bakeries and restaurants around the hotel. Seoul N tower and Namsan park is also within walking distance. Seoul station is also 10-15 mins by taxi and if there is no luggage or less luggage then one can even walk there while enjoying the streets of Seoul. The hotel is new (2013) and we had a view of the tower and the Namsan mountain from the room. Myeongdong shopping street is also around 10 mins walk. There is a nice rooftop bar and restaurant on the 18th floor."

"Location was great providing convenience to shopping and dine out! 😊 Aside from there, I thought the room cleanliness could be better, I have had 8 to 10 mosquitoes bites on my legs, arms and face during my sleep which is quite bad. And I saw 2 mosquitoes at the gym room too."

"The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from Exit 14 of Dongdaemun History & Culture Park subway station (though my navigation suggested 10 minutes via main roads, there's a convenient shortcut). The lobby on the 14th floor is very spacious. The room was impressively large, bigger than other properties of the same brand I've stayed at, including one nearby and another in Jeju Island (this is my third time staying with this chain). The bed was nothing special, about 1 meter wide, but perfectly adequate for a solo traveler. If I return to the area, this would absolutely be my top choice! The attached photo is of Hongdae – I completely forgot to take pictures of the hotel itself!"

"I had 2 separate but consecutive days bookings but I didn’t managed to stay in the same room throughout which means I had to check out and check in again. Other than this, I think the overall services are excellent. The staff at the check in and concierge are all very proficient in English so asking for help was a breeze. My fav part is scanning the room key card in the lift without having to press the level."
