"What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"Our stay at the Grand Skylight Hotel in Libo, Guizhou, was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is perfect, with a private, convenient passage directly to the Xiaoqikong scenic area, making sightseeing incredibly easy and stress-free. The rooms are spacious and elegant, with a refined and tidy layout. Anna at the front desk was exceptionally thoughtful, attentive, and enthusiastic. All the staff were very accommodating, patiently answering all our questions with professional and warm service. The overall environment, facilities, and service were impeccable. This is definitely our top choice for a vacation stay in Xiaoqikong, and we'll certainly choose this hotel again for our next visit!"

"The hotel is right by the East Gate exit, very close to where you scan tickets for the scenic shuttle. The owner is a really nice guy; he helped us reserve a parking spot and carried our luggage. One night, it started pouring rain when we were out, and he even came to pick us up with an umbrella! He also gave us some watermelon, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!"

"Worried about where to stay in Libo, I kept seeing old hotels until I finally stumbled upon this hidden gem on Trip.com after countless searches. There was only one review when I booked, so I was a bit hesitant, but I was beyond satisfied once I checked in. The hotel is super new, and I wondered why such a great place had so few reviews. I found out they had just been listed on Trip.com. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures – my photography skills don't do the room's beauty justice! From the moment I booked, someone thoughtfully asked about our high-speed train tickets to arrange a pick-up. At the station, the young man eagerly helped us with our heavy luggage. Everything felt so warm and welcoming. I'm willing to spend time writing an honest review so more tourists can see this amazing hotel and help those who are undecided. Haha! I love staying in new hotels, and the overall experience truly makes it the top choice for a trip to Libo. We stayed in a room type that's unique to the entire hotel. Compared to other hotels near or within the scenic area, the price is genuinely not expensive at all, considering the room is large, new, and you can see the distant mountains from your bed, watching the clouds change. The hotel's location is excellent, just a 4-minute walk to the East Gate of the scenic area, and you can even see the scenic area's ticket office from your bed. Transportation is convenient right outside, and amenities are all around. It's not noisy at all; I usually have trouble sleeping, but whether it was the comfortable bedding or the super quiet environment, I slept soundly until morning. The lobby design is simple yet grand, with an elegant style – I particularly loved it; it felt soothing and relaxing the moment I walked in. The room was meticulously clean, with attention to every detail. The bedding was soft and comfortable, making sleep especially restful. It's worth mentioning the staff's thoughtful and proper service, with gentle and polite attitudes. Especially the manager – I've never seen a hotel professional so passionate about their job. They were full of energy throughout, incredibly patient at all times. The check-in process was smooth, and they even gave us directions, making our travels convenient and saving us a lot of time. On the day we left, May 3rd, it was raining heavily, and we had a lot of luggage. Several staff members at the front desk, without umbrellas themselves, braved the rain to help us load our luggage into the car and took us to the high-speed train station. At the station, the manager asked me to help my elderly mother while they again braved the rain to move our luggage to a sheltered spot right at the station entrance, ready for boarding. It was so heartwarming! I will definitely choose this hotel again next time. Every young lady at reception was meticulous and promptly responded to any needs, making us feel respected and warm. The young lady who helped us check in on the first day was also super nice; I loved interacting with her. I mentioned wanting to see other room types, and she enthusiastically showed us two other Loft styles. Next time, if we're with more people, I can bring my family to stay. One of them even had a small pavilion on the top, perfect for having tea, very comfortable. I didn't see her on checkout day and wanted to say goodbye. Thumbs up to the welcoming staff and the children at the restaurant – their service was absolutely fantastic, super enthusiastic. The overall environment is quiet and comfortable, with complete and practical facilities, embodying both quality and warmth. I hope they'll have long-stay packages so I can come back for an extended period during the off-season. One ticket allows free entry for seven days – so worth it for just over a hundred yuan! The scenic area staff were also super enthusiastic, patiently explaining routes when we were unsure. Even during the busy May Day holiday, they patiently explained everything, making the experience excellent. Vehicle management was orderly; there was no traffic at all. We went to the East Gate on May 1st and 2nd at noon, and there was hardly any queue. I'm writing this on the high-speed train and at the station. It's worth noting that every platform at Libo High-Speed Train Station has scenic elevators, which is another bonus point, making it friendly for large luggage, seniors, and children. Okay, I won't write any more. In short, for my first time in Libo, both the hotel and the scenic area service were superb. I'll definitely come again if I have time. "First, the room was exactly as described, and it even had a smart butler system to operate the room's amenities—advanced and convenient! Second, the room was clean and hygienic, making for a very comfortable stay! Third, the hotel's location is excellent, very close to the ancient town, and parking is convenient! Fourth, there are many restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient! Fifth, the landlady is warm and hospitable, providing smiling service and even helping guests with travel tips to help them plan their trips—very thoughtful! Finally, the hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended!"

"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

The driver not only helped us with our luggage but also enthusiastically shared local travel tips on the way – like which attractions to avoid during peak hours and where to find the most authentic snacks. It felt like chatting with an old friend, and the fatigue from our journey instantly melted away. When we checked out, we even asked the driver to help us take our luggage to the station. The service was thoughtful and thorough from start to finish – the driver deserves a big tip! 2. **Room Experience:** We were so happy the owner upgraded our room for free! The room was very clean and smart, equipped with a voice assistant and a smart toilet. The sheets and duvet covers were spotless, the bedding was super soft, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a great night's sleep. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was incredibly pleasant. Highly recommended! 3. **Service Details:** Beyond the impressive amenities, the service was truly a bonus! The front desk staff patiently answered all our questions during check-in and even gave us tips for visiting Xiaoqikong Scenic Area! **Summary:** From pick-up to check-out, every aspect of our stay showed the hotel's dedication and care. If I ever visit this city again, this hotel will definitely be my first choice! I strongly recommend it to anyone who values attention to detail and a great experience. "I had booked another hotel in Libo, but when I drove to the lobby, it looked dark, so I immediately checked out. I searched on Ctrip and found Century Garden Hotel, which is located next to the Municipal Square. The parking lot is ample, and there is a large charging parking lot next to it. The two interns at the front desk were very professional and upgraded the room. The room was large, facing the Red Boat Square, with a good view. The hotel is not very new, but the basic facilities are well maintained, and the breakfast is also OK."
