I have never stayed at a Courtyard Marriott that was so filthy in my entire life. We are Marriott rewards members, but since we booked through a third party, I think we got the shaft (hotels don't like that). We were visiting for a family reunion, and upon check-in found out the Starbucks coffee was unavailable because the breakfast area was closed down for COVID. Now, I understand Corona problems, but nowhere on their website did they mention this, however there was a Starbucks 1 mile up the street open??? After visiting with family, we came back to the hotel about 10:30pm. Exhausted I pulled back the sheets to find a stain that looked like blood or jelly. Either way, I did not want to sleep there. (see pics). Therefore, in my nightgown and leggings, I shlepped down to the front desk and asked for another room. We were given a room on the first floor (note: there is smoking in this hotel, so it travels up). After moving all of our belongings, about 11:15 pm, we checked the beds. A ok. However, the bathtub was filthy (see pics). Also, do not plan on house-service...again, was not mentioned on the website. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever again. Keep driving up the highway about a mile for a nicer Marriott.

Read the reviews and LISTEN Beds are old and uncomfortable. Tub and toliet stained. ”Couldnt finish updating by getting new ones.” (How is EVERYTHING covids fault? Better hurry and turn the shower on cause the tub water handle leaked and sprayed all over. TV is in the SIDES of the bed. HOW can you watch ut comfortable?! I have been in over 1/2 of Hotel chains since covid. Why are they the only ones who will not put trash bags in the trash cans?? And WHY cant we get our own ice? Who knows if that scooper is clean you use in the ”back”? Plenty of other hotel chains in the area. Find another one, and dont let the name fool you... Oh, but Christina was very nice and helpful! I asked for a refrigerator and microwave. When I checked in she told me it would be here in the morning. I needed a fridge NOW. So She carried one in for Me! Although I told Her to have them bring the microwave at noon, they came pounding a little after 9 am. Was very angry about that

The rates were a little higher than expected and the rooms a bit dated but overall was a pleasant stay. The staff is very minimal. The breakfast area has some hot options and coffee but is only manned by one individual, whom I want to note did an amazing job on her own. Its a little further walk from some downtown locations but overall a good option.

Stayed at the Courtyard by the airport for business. Definitely not the fanciest hotel you will ever stay at, but it gets the job done. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The bathtub in my room had some chips in it, and the paint was flaked off in some places. Also, the pillows felt very cheap, absolutely zero fluff whatsoever. You will need to use 2 or 3 to have any type of support. The parking lot feels like it is not the safest place to park your car, but I had no issues and as long as you lock your car and don't leave anything valuable in it, there shouldn't be any issues. There also is no breakfast included, unless you have a rate that includes it. The pool is a nice area, however, the hottub is more a lukewarm tub, not a typical HOTtub that one would expect. The workout room was nice as well. The location of this hotel is not near any restaurants or stores and there is not much to do around this area, you will need to go towards downtown or the speedway to find any decent food options, unless you look at restaurants in other hotels. Other than those relatively minor details, my stay was rather pleasant. Every now and then you will hear other people and doors slam, but that isn't the hotel's fault. As mentioned earlier, definitely not the most luxurious hotel you will ever stay at, but for the price and the location to the airport and downtown (10 minute drive), it is a solid option for a stay. I would definitely stay again.
